We ran towards the building, being as sly as possible. The building was completly silent, but that meant nothing.

"Do you think they know that we're here?" Clint whispered.

I nodded, "They have to. It wouldn't be this easy if they didn't. Bruce, be ready to let all your anger out. This is gonna be crazy." I looked at Bruce to see him nod.

"OKAY, we're here 2 reasons and 2 reasons only. To stop Hammer and his friend before they get the Pluranium in the machines, and to get Tony back. Michaela, I want you to go in there and find Tony, I don't care how you do it, but just do it. Leave Hammer to the rest of us. There's no way he can defeat all of us." I nodded. I was in this part alone. And I knew exactly what to do. We slammed the door open, and ran inside. It was completly dark. Silently as possible we made our way to where I saw the weapons. I was in the lead, and I didn't like it. There wasn't a soun to be heard, and there was something wrong. All we heard was clapping. As the lights turned on and there stood Hammer, and weird...alien? And Tony...unconsious.

"Did your stupid petty team REALLY think we would stay here?" Hammer laughed. I was barely listening. Tony looked terrible, his face would have been white if it weren't for the fact that it was black and blue and red from all the cuts and bruises.

I swallowed, "What do you want with us?" I snapped.

"You know what we want. And we're going to start with your precious little Tony. But don't worry. He isn't going to die until he watches each and every single one of you die a slow and painful death."

"Don't do this Hammer, call off any invasion, don't put innocent at harm." Steve tried to reason.

"WHAT? INNOCENT PEOPLE? YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT INNOCENT PEOPLE. I WAS AN INNOCENT PERSON. I DID NOTHING WRONG. I JUST WANTED TO MAKE IT ON TOP AND HE RUINED IT! AND NOW YOU'RE ALL GOING TO PAY." His voice had so much venom in it, it made us all flinch.

"What can we do to get you to back down?" Thor asked.

"Give me Fury you pety Asgardian!" The creepy alien spat, and threw down his hood.

Thor gasped, "Athrum!"

"Yes, yes, no enough with this. Where is Fury? I want to make him pay!"

"What did he ever do to you?" I yelled. I hadn't realized I said it until it escaped the lips.

He looked at me, and his eyes narrowed, "You've seen the eye patch little girl, I was going to rule EVERYTHING. But the only thing I got was his PETY. EYE." He yelled at me, "He stopped me, and now I won't give up until I get to kill him slowly and painfully." I looked at the rest of The Avengers. Everyone was scared, what were we supposed to do? And then it hit me, this was a distraction. This had to be a distraction. There had to be an army. My eyes widened and I looked at Natasha. Obviously she understood my look.

"Will you be ok?" She mouthed toward me. I nodded, I was going to stay here. They were going to get out and go try to keep the battle in the field. I was going to stay here and save Tony even if it killed me. I took a breath and charged towards Hammer, I would be thhe distraction, and they would leave. Everything was in slow motion. I ran, Hammer looked confused. Athrum looked delighted. He put his hand up and hit me with a ray of light.

"GET OUT OF HERE!" I screamed. No one moved, "GO!!" I screamed so loud it hurt. The look on all of their faces. As they ran. It was heart breaking. The ray of light hit me and I fell backwards, hitting my head. Before I blacked out I stayed awake long enough to see them get out. I knew they would be safe, and everything went black.

I was in a field. Laying in grass that could have been a bed it was so soft. I was in a white summer dress. I smiled, I hadn't worn a dress in years. The job never really called for it for me. Rose bushes surrounded me. I layed back as a breeze blew by. I was in pure bliss. Everything seemed perfect at this moment.

"Michaela!" Tony yelled. I looked up and smiled.

"Tony!" I jumped up and ran towards him, "Where are we? This place is amazing!"

"Michaela, you need to wake up Baby doll. It's important that you wake up!" His voice was urgent but I didn't care.

"But I love it here! I feel nothing but happiness, and look I get to wear a summer dress!" He got close to my face.

"Baby doll if you wake up I'll buy you a million summer dresses."

"But you won't be able to get me thiss oneee." I sang. Nothing would get me out of here. This was the happiest I've ever been and not even Tony was going to ruin it.

"Baby doll, please wake up. You need to wake up now. This is a dream! You're only dreaming!" I started to notice the worry lines.

"What are you talking about Tony? Aren't I dead?"

"No! NO! You aren't dead! You need to wake up now, I know it's going to hurt, but you're going to be ok. You saved my life, you saved everyone elses life, and now it's time to save yours!"

"I don't know what you're talking about sweety." I smiled as I felt a breeze blow my hair back. I touched Tonys cheek. And then everything got dark. I started to scream, everything around me went dark. And then all there was, was blackness. A never ending blackness. I didn't know what I was supposed to do. What if I was going to be stuck like this forever? I tried to scream, I tried to move. But nothing. I wanted to go back to the dream. I wanted to go back. Why couldn't I go back. I don't know how much time passed before I started feeling lighter. I started to feel pain. And I heard something. It got louder and louder, until I could tell that it was crying. And the pain got worse and worse. Until I couldn't handle it anymore. I gasped and opened my eyes. It was dark, but the pain was almost unbearable. The tears starting falling down my cheeks and I whimpered in pain. I couldn't move. What was wrong with me?

"Oh my god! Michaela, you're alive. Oh thank god!" Tony cried and wiped away my tears.

"Where are we?" I croaked.

"I don't know. I don't know what's going on. All I know is that you saved their lives. You saved my life, and now we have to get out of here!"

"Do you have any idea where we are?" I asked, Tony helped me sit up.

"I know we're about 15 feet under ground, and we're in some sort of cell." I cringed as I sat up more.

"Why does my body hurt this bad? How did I save everyone?"

"I heard them talking, you got hit with this ray of light. I don't know what it's called. But they were talking about how it's...Ok I don't want to talk about that. All I know is that your heads hurt, and that your stomach isn't looking good at all. I think that when we get out of this I can find a way to make sure it doesn't scar, but we have to get out. If we don't it'll get infected."

"What about you?" I asked.

"I don't know."

"Look at me." I put my hand under his chin and made him look at me, I gasped, his eyes were red and puffy like he had been crying, and he had cuts and bruises but nothing major.

"Why were you crying?" I asked.

"I thought I lost my best friend." He mumbled and hugged my shoulders.

"We're gonna get out of this Tony, don't worry."
