It was morning the next day, The sun shone in the white, fluffy clouds drifted across the sky. I watched Jasper cleaning the car across our house. His chiseled body, without a shirt. He gets this really cute gleam in his eyes when he sees his favorite dog, Chum. His good cheek bones attractive. Why am I hurting him?

Catherine was busy with the crochet, while Dad's car engine needs some repair. He asks Jasper if he could help him. I'm just there at the porch with mom. He stole a glance at me before going to my dad. I know that they were close besides of being neighbors.

A week after at school, while waiting for the teacher I was sitting there and Embry had just arrived. The class started, and in the middle of class the teacher asked Embry a question.

"Where's the report that I asked you to do?" He asked.

All of our classmates were staring at her. I, on the other hand, am restless. I saw that she glance darting around, head turning, as if looking for answers.

I spoke to divert his attention.

''Mrs. Everleigh told us that we can't be given any assignments this week because we have full load and deadlines.'' I say.

I hope my seatmates won't oppose. Thank God. They did. Until the class went over, I stood up and start heading off. But Embry step forward to direction and just stared at me.

''Thank you for saving me. You know I had no idea how to slip through to that shame .'' She smiles.

''Nuh, what best friend are for?'' I say.

''I miss you.'' Embry sound subtle.

''I miss you too.'' She felt a sudden flare of joy, and pulls me into a hug.

I could barely conceal my delight. We headed to the coffee shop after class, and sits across her way.

''What's your plan now with you and Jasper?'' I give her a dazed look of bewilderment.

''We better move on in separate ways. Maybe we're just not ready I don't know.'' Her inner voice churn through the topic that made her confused in a low murmur rambling about it but not having make any sense of it.

He sips her espresso. There are free books, and magazines, free WI-FI are available to customers with the airy, colorful decor, older brick, architecturally interesting facade. The strong bitter aroma of ground coffee beans drift through the air.

''I'm sorry.'' I mumbled.

''It's okay now. I realized that there were things meant to happen. And I don't want end up we hurting each other, like, he's with me but he's thinking someone else.'' Shot me a quizzical look.

I feel bad. Taking a deep breath and letting it out again slowly. We tried working things out, but the relationship was beyond saving. Her mom and dad is getting a divorce, I know how totally she anxious about it.

Embry and I both rode together at her house and met her dad. Her mom is gone and busy with getting a divorce with her dad. Her brother Cooper wasn't there. I waved a hello to Mr. Bunker as we went upstairs to her room.

I sit.

Embry and Jasper will meet tonight to patch things up. To clear and settle everything. I told her that everything will be fine. She hasn't the courage so I decided to help her. I know she will get through this.

''Don't you think it is the best idea to you know, about Jasper?'' She say.

I give him a nod. ''I know he's still waiting.''

It's past 7 o'clock and we reached the park. Jasper was there waiting impatiently. She saw Embry and by surprise. Turning slowly, unwillingly. I know he isn't comfortable as she saw me with her lover.
