I took my luggage. Before stepping in outside. Catherine gave me one last hug before leaving Georgia. Jackson was also there with us throughout the trip. I said my partings before I finally got in the car. Jasper opened the door for me and sat in the backseat. He give me a hopeful smile, showing placid. I lay my head against his shoulder.

''You know what when he was a kid he used to have a girl who went to the principal's office just to complain that he isn't liking her.'' Jackson call out while he is driving.

''That's not even my fault. No one can't resist my charms Uncle Jackson.'' He chuckled.

''And you were the first girl that he would introduced to our family, and we don't even know that Embry became his girlfriend.'' His uncle commented. It would took us six hours, and had to stop over to had some lunch.

Jasper is holding a tray while I wait sitting. He ordered me a pasta, and a beat out steak. placed it on the table. Jackson skip his lunch having ketogenic diet. He smokes right from the car while we have our lunch.

I started eating the pasta.

''This is good.'' I say. ''Try to taste it.''

I spooned him a pasta while he eats steak. A cold soda. Got the tissue, and wipe under my lips.

''Let's have picture together.'' He importuned, taking his phone's camera shutters.

''This is cute.'' I crooned as I look at the pictures.

We both head back in the car, and I had fallen asleep to Jasper's shoulders. How long have I gone sleeping? I woke up from the warm sunlight in my face. After an hour, they switch drivers. Jasper drives and it's still thirty kilometers to Florida.

I placed my headphones, volume up and play 5 seconds of summer. The afternoon sun bathed the buildings in its warm light. Tiny specks of dust seemed to dance in the shaft of afternoon sunlight that slanted through the window.

We arrived in Florida and about two miles before Miami where their beaches are. We got out of the car and Jackson and I waited across the house. A man in his fifties appeared. In his gray shirt, and I knew he expected us to come. Jasper was just stunned as he saw his father.

The man came out of the house, and slowly walked over and hugged Jasper tightly, and turned to Jackson before getting us in his house.

He makes a orange juice and sandwich. We sit in a couch. Jackson was talking to Alex, yeah. That's his father's name. Alexander Price. A rugged buff man. I saw a picture of his family. And if I am not mistaken, that was Jasper in the picture with her mother. But in the other frame there is a sixteen years old guy which apparently his other family.

''My wife died three years ago, my stepson Eddie which was the son of my wife, Emma. He works in Miami. He'll going home at seven. He can tour you here. He is a tourist guide.'' He say.

''Looks how that Eddie grew. The last time we've met in Canyon Crest.'' Jackson muttered.

Jasper stood up.

''What?'' He said in elevated voice, eyelids squinted. His forehead starts to throb. ''Is this true? When you told me Jackson that you're visiting your relatives when we've been in Canyon you've said that you didn't found my dad.'' He rushed speech.

Jackson stared with wide open cannot shut, he's frozen.

''Your dad wasn't ready yet. He ask me a favor not to tell you at that time.'' He replied.

''But you lied to me. You know how I wanted to search for Alex after mom passed away. You know that why I left Alaska because you told me that you will help me to bring me back to him.'' Jasper grinned.
