you couldn't stand your room, still angry at your father and angry at the world in general. everyone and thing except the shinsos, you could never be mad at them. when life got too hectic, you would just sneak next door and talk things out with your friend and it would feel like everything would work itself out, but since now you lived a train ride apart that was out of the question. so with your bedroom door locked and window wide open you snuck out to have an adventure of your own.

explore the neighborhood and maybe meet someone who was doing the same. it was easy to sneak out of the first story window on the side of the house and seemed easy enough to sneak through a neighbor's yard to an opposing sidewalk, one you had never seen before.

"oi, who's over there?" you cursed yourself, the person who lived behind you was out and about. you turned and saw a spiky blonde male approaching you, his hands crackling with sparks.

he looked to be around the same age as you with a harsh glare capturing his face, red eyes glaring down around you. but it didn't seem as he had seen you, just heard movement so you decided to try and hide behind a convenient bush. you ended up scaring a little bunny out and the male took that was what was walking around, even though he could've sworn it was larger footsteps. he sighed and sat at the base of a tree not so far away, essentially trapping you.

"this world is full of so many damn extras i want to just go away. deku even thinks he can compete with me, smug little quirkless. next time he tries something like that i'll blast his dumb face off." the male was sitting with his knees bent slightly in front of him and arms resting on those, hands creating small, harmless sparks of light. "if he tries to even just compete with me i'll blast his face off. yeah, finally show him his place in the world, quirkless bastard."

"who's this deku you're trying to hurt?" you couldn't help but be curious, plopping down next to the male. he was freaked out and tried to aim his hands toward you, but you had already made sure he couldn't hit you, locking his arms away from you. "look i'm not here to fight, i needed to get out and so it seems you did too." he was grumbling on about 'damn extras' again and you sighed, forcing his body down next to you.

"what the fuck is your quirk?"

"answer my question first, who is this deku?"

"he's just a dumb quirkless extra who thinks he can compete with me," he grumbled.

"how so? is your quirk really that powerful?" he laughed at your question.

"my quirk is flashy and powerful, i secrete nitroglycerin as sweat that i can explode," he held his hand out, this time in front of the two for you and sent a small blast into the dark. "speaking of, what the fuck is your quirk? how were you able to restrain me without touching me?" your face contorted into a smirk of your own.

"i control and manipulate metals, and as for your second question, everyone has iron in their body and i've started training to be able to tap into that, which takes more effort since it's such small amount. so my quirk isn't as flashy as yours, but it's still one to be reckon with."

"so controlling people is your specialty?"

"i guess you could call it that." the two for you set into a comfortable silence, surprising for both parties. the male just needed someone he could rant to and you needed someone to take your mind off of dinner.

"why haven't i seen you around before? you just really dumb or something?" you laughed at the automatic assumption.

"no, i just moved here but i still go to my old middle school."

"what the fuck, that's dumb," he scoffed and you immediately got defensive.

"it really isn't. what's dumb is transferring to a new school a month into the school year. i'm already settled into that school with classes and my friends. what's dumb is thinking all would be solved if i just transferred schools." you could feel a big metal container nearby, your hand pulsating as you restrained yourself from denting it.
