lunch finally rolled around and as the bell rang you grabbed bakugo's wrist and drug him behind you as you went down to meet your friend from general studies. luckily for you and shinso they just happen to put your lunchs together.

nobody really looked when you were pulling bakugo in tow, most of the class still being a bit scared of him except for midoriya. he glanced up and saw bakugo's cheeks tinted a light pink and was staring at the part of his arm where you had a grip on him. he smiled to himself, it was nice finally seeing him find someone he enjoyed even if he could never admit it.

it was quite an easy path to the cafeteria and you didn't let go of the blonde's wrist as you saw shinso sitting at a table, plenty of open seats around him. bakugo was surprised when you veered off instead to get some lunch but watched as the male continued to save the seats around himself as the rest of the rectangular table filled up. bakugo couldn't hear what he was saying but could see his mouth moving whenever someone tried to sit down. he shrugged, following you as you dropped his wrist and picked up two different lunches.

the chef, lunch rush, didn't seem to care and so you proceeded, getting two of everything before paying and going to sit down. bakugo wasn't far behind, but he never questioned why, he just went along with this. very odd, but alas he understood he would always be second to shinso when it came to you.

again he didn't know why he cared or why things concerning you and him were racing through his head. maybe because you stuck with him through his nasty attitude and at his middle school he really didn't have friends. only those punk goons who acted like hanging around him would give them some tough, gangster appearence.

as you approached shinso with the blonde not far behind, he finally got an up close look on his quirk. some angry red hair male had sat in the seat next to the right of shinso, the one he was saving for you. he grabbed the male's shoulder, forcing him to look at the purple haired male.

"what's your name?"

"tetsutetsu tetsutetsu," he answered and had he still had control of himself he would've snapped at shinso. no other words were exchanged as he let go of the bootleg bakugo kirishima mix and somehow made him walk off to somewhere else. you smiled and left the blonde confused, watching the other male walk farther away before taking the seat across from you.

"nicely done shin-chan," you smiled, setting down one of the trays in front of the general studies kid.

"didn't take any extra effort," he smirked, digging into the food.

"what the fuck did you do to that reject?" bakugo was staring down the strange 1st year.

"what's with people asking about quirks today? jeez first that todo-something kid and now you baka-chan?" a shook your head, bitting quite ferociously into an apple.

"it's because we're used to things we can see. mental quirks are always a mystery."

"speak of the devil," you said between bites. todoroki showed no facial changes as he sat next to bakugo, across from shinso.

"my name's todoroki shoto and why won't you just tell people your quirk? it doesn't harm you."

"it's more fun this way."
..

"everyone, take your costume and get changed before meeting me out on grounds b!" all might announced as some over-the-top shelves came out of the wall, holding briefcases with the numbers 1-20 on them. you grabbed a hold of yours and headed off to the girl's locker room.

inside, you tossed the case on a bench seperating two sets of lockers. opening one you kicked off your shoes and uniform, folding them before placing them nicely into the locker. you could practically feel the eyes glancing between you and whatever else, almost making you insane. deciding it was best to not cause a scene, you ignored it and opened the case, pulling out the suit and smiling down at it.

to everyone else it just looked like a grey bodysuit, some even thinking it was weird how much skin it covered as you slipped it on. only you could feel the free metal stuck everywhere, ready for use in any combat scenario. the suit was a plain grey and just perfect. intertwined with the durable fabric were strands of silver, steel, and aluminium. to keep the metals from scrapping up your body, there was a soft liner on the inside. similar to your homeroom teacher's capture weapon, around your waist was a scarf with a lot steel woven inside, which made it more on the heavy side (for a scarf) but simple and stress free to use. it would stay nicely around your more rounder hips and any chance of slipping was thrown out the window as the metal woven fabric caught the metal woven fabric. putting the case in the locker, you moved over to the sink and mirror portion of the room.

you had only put your legs in the suit and the scarf belt was now resting by the sink. with the mirror you could zip yourself up and also see who exactly was staring at you. turning to the side that led to the bathrooms to pick up an arm, you could still see through your periferals the mirror and therefore whoever was on the other side. as some alien girl chatted to deku's crush you saw her. the same damned brunette who was staring at you in class. you didn't know her name, and she was lucky for that one. otherwise you would've called her out right then and there. you absolutely hated unnecessary eyes on you.

getting both arms on and zipping the suit up past your bust and up to the base of your throat you smiled. despite the curves you were convinced were a curse, you wouldn't be just another female hero who dressed in tacky costumes that either made them look naked or brought attention to their breasts or bottom. of course this train of thought was a little hypocritical as you had on a skin tight suit, but you deemed it okay since your hips would be covered by the belt scarf and your outfit in general was spiky and rough to the touch, which helped to hide your figure further. you walked out and saw bakugo already dressed and leaning against the wall.

"waiting for someone?" you ask, sliding up next to him.

"finally," he turned to move and his exposed arm grazed your suit.

"ow, what the hell is that thing made of?" he hissed, sliding his own little arm grenades farther up.

"it's metal woven into fabric and it's absolutely perfect," you sighed lovingly at the fabric, liking the slight contrast of white scarf belt against the grey of the suit. bakugo laughed quietly at your expression and the two of you headed out to grounds b.
..

"the class will be divided into ten teams of two and the rules are simple! two teams will face off against each other, one team of villains and one team of heros. the villains are hiding a nuclear weapon with the intens on setting it off and the heros must stop them. if the heros capture the villains or reach the weapon before time runs out, they win. if the villains capture the heros or successfully protect the weapon, they win. now to decide teams, let's draw lots!"

you picked 'i' and wasn't surprised when your partner was someone who's name you had already forgotten. at least you weren't bakugo and paired up with the uptight rocket legs.

"team a will be the heros and team d will be the villains!" all might announces and you sigh. of course bakugo was going to fight his old friend. before he left you turned and grabbed his shoulder.

"don't let deku get the best of you in this exercise. listen and work with your partner," you whispered to him and he pushed you off, not listening to a word.

he wanted revenge. and wanted it badly.

from inside the room you couldn't hear anything they were saying, so you could only hope he would listen to you for once.
