"i'll take these please,"

yeseul handed the books she wanted to buy.

"back so soon? did you finish the last book?"

the ajumma from behind the counter gave yeseul a smile as she scanned the books.

"i did, it turned out to be unsatisfying."

yeseul smiled faintly and gave the ajumma her discount card.

"i knew you would say that, where's your friend?"

she asked, yeseul raised her eyebrows and bit her lip.

"he's-"

"ajumma!"

yeseul turned around and saw seokjin walking towards her. she turned back to the counter, quickly she took out her money to pay for the books.

"i'll pay for it ajumma,"

seokjin pulled back yeseul's arm as he gave his money to the ajumma.

yeseul stared at him for a moment before he smiled at her widely and waited for the books to be packed.

"what are you doing here?"

yeseul said, they stood outside the bookstore. seokjin holding the bag filled with the books yeseul chose.

he shrugged and looked down at his shoes. his hair looked darker because he wore his white sweatshirt in a sunny day.

"are you-"
"hungry?"

he asked.

"no i'm not,"

she grabbed the bag from his hands.

"i'm going home."

she said and walked off.

"wait!"

seokjin followed after her, she slightly quickened her pace but still, seokjin catches up to her. he looked down at her tiny feet stomping on the concrete while her head was held high and her pink lips shining.
