Tabloids were making a catastrophe of the comeback of the greatest villain the wizarding world has ever seen. People were barely leaving their homes, being to scared that when they leave they might never come home.
Really, it's not like that.
My father is still weak. He's like a baby, in fact, too injured to even let his own mark up into the sky.
All that's needed to kill him is a simple spell.
I could just kill him. Blow him to smithereens and end this entire battle before it even starts.
But, little do I know someone was already planning to do this for me.

DRACO MALFOY'S P.O.V.
"This is the only way, Draco. You want to give Delphini a way to get out of this mess? You need to help me, son." my father begs, gripping my shoulder with just a bit too much squeeze.
My poor cousin. Daughter of the strongest wizard on Earth with power even unknown to her father.
She could control the world with one finger, make us bow to her knees with just a bit of training.
"This is the only way." my mother whispers.
"NO!" I shout. "I will not betray the people I care about at Hogwarts like that. Voldemort can infiltrate the school himself."
"It is not infiltrating the school if you are not the one stealing it, now is it, Draco?" my father sneered. "You will still be able to return to your beloved ridiculous school."
"All we need you to do is ensure no one is suspicious of Quirrell or our plan, and bring anyone who is suspicious to justice. Is that easy enough for you to do, darling? Can you do that for us, please?" Narcissa smiled.
It was a classic good-cop, bad-cop situation.
"Yes mother."

Draco Malfoy's P.O.V continued.
I saw Hermione, Ron and Harry run eagerly out to Hagrid's hut during dark.
I knew they were close to working out what was going on with that bloody dog and the trapdoor, but fortunately they suspected Snape instead of s-s-stu-stuttering Quirrell.
Classic.
My duties were clear. Stop anyone who was suspicious.
I crept silently after them, ensuring no one sees me go.
Peering into Hagrid's window, I saw something which I thought was utter lies when told it.
Was he really stupid enough to give Voldemort the way to whatever they were seeking in place of a dragon egg?
"What the hell are you doing out here?" a voice I knew all too well whispered.
"Delphi! Shut your rotten mouth!" I jeered quietly as I could after being scared out of my mind.

DELPHINI'S P.O.V
Malfoy. Leaving the castle in the witching hour doing Merlin knows what.
I had to see what was going on.
Following Malfoy until I was within viewing distance of him, I watched him inspect Hagrid's hut and look not as nearly as shocked as I thought he would.
Is that a hatching dragon?!
"What the hell are you doing out here?" I whispered.
"Delphi! Shut your rotten mouth!" Draco cried.
"Get away from the window and back to the castle. Normally, I would make you explain but I'm just tired and pissed. NOW." I ordered.
Malfoy scowled. "I'm going to McGonnagall first."
We parted ways and I slinked my way back into the castle, all the while wondering what I have become a part of simply through my blood.

I awoke the next morning to find Hermione, Ron, Harry and Draco all with detentions.
Harry and I hadn't spoken since our kiss and I wasn't planning on it, until lunch in the Great Hall.
"Delphini." Harry smiled.
"Harry!" I grinned. "Everything okay?"
"Yes. I just wanted to - you know... check up on you. After the other night."
"Oh yes. I'm... fine? I think." I chuckled. "Do you do this with everyone you kiss?"
Harry's face turned white.
"No.. Delphi. You have to understand. We're enemies, by blood... and.." Harry stuttered.
"I get it. Sure." my blood boiled. What a cheeky, playing shit.
I slammed my food on the table and attempted to storm off. Harry grabbed my arm.
"Delphi! Please." he then let go, as if seeing a monster.
"Your eyes; they're black."
Everyone in the hall was now staring directly at us.
"It's Ms Riddle to you, coward." I snarled. "Respect my father's name."
With that, I turned and fled out of there, furiously wiping the tears from eyes.
