- Stay Strong -
"Thea!" Thea let out a loud sigh, letting her head fall back to rest on the tree in exasperation. "Thea!"
"I'm coming!" She started her way down the tree, landing down in front of Finn. "What is it?"
"Somethings happening." He turned to walk away but stopped to turn back to Thea. "What were you doing?"
"Sitting in the tree," Thea replied blatantly, starting to walk with Finn back towards the middle of camp and towards the dropship.
"what happened?" She asked as they walked.
"Connor started vomiting blood, Clarke checked on Murphy, the grounders gave him some sort of disease," Finn responded.
The two walked through the flap and were greeted by the stench of vomit and blood. Thea screwed up her face in disgust. She knew vaguely of this disease, she remembered Azgada spreading it through her village as revenge, now every clan had their own version and most of them gave it to their young to make them amune. Thea had the disease when she was young as well, it wasn't to kill, but few children did fall for the diseases harshness.
"Clarke?" Finn called when they entered.
"Finn, you shouldn't be in here, no one should."
"I heard you were sick. Clarke, what is this?" Thea watched the bodies on the floor, some of them had blood on their clothes and face.
"I don't know, some kind of hemorrhagic fever. We just need to contain it before--" Clarke started, only to be interrupted by Derek retching.
Thea moved towards him, gently touching Clarke's shoulder to move her gently out of her way.
"Hey don't touch me. You could get sick, wash your hands, now." Clarke started to shove moonshine into her hands, but Thea shook her head, refusing the canteen.
"I'm immune," Thea explained, shocking both Clarke and Finn.
"What?" Clarke stared at her in disbelief, "You know the cure?"
Thea shook her head, "I'm not a healer, I don't know much. Lincoln might though, he knows more about healing than I do."
Clarke sighed, not pleased with the answer.
"Do you know what's happening to him?" Finn asked Thea but the question was still slightly directed at Clarke.
"I don't know, I'm sorry," Thea replied.
As if on cue, Derek started coughing again, his body convulsing with each cough. He stopped suddenly, everyone in the room paused to look at him. Thea rushed over, putting her fingers to his neck to check for his pulse.
"Is he.." Bellamy trailed off before he got to the end of hi sentence.
"He's dead," Thea confirmed, gently moving her hand to close her eyes. "Yu Gonplei ste odon." She whispered quietly, avoiding the frown Bellamy gave her when he heard her say it.
