Arc 1: Fallen for a human

Now we find both the silver swordsman and the Lancer of Chaldeius is in some what a waiting area in the arena of the Dragon claw tribe's territory

"Can you please explain how in the world are you going to win?" Iris asked with a stern face holding her lance, "and tell me what are you doing?"

Zero is now seen cleaning the swords blade carefully and delicately with a cotton swab (Note: long ago in the Edo period (please tell me if I'm wrong) of japan a samurai will always take his blade, the tsuba or the hilt, the habaki (or the Ricasso on a Japanese sword), the pin, and the handle apart first in order to clean it. But now think about it, how can you clean a sword that can cut you just by touching the blade?) And now are you wondering where the Calad Bolg is? Well it's in his storage and let's have a bit of a brief flashback moment? Shall we?

Flashback

Zero is walking behind the lustrous knight named Iris, it was a few days after they left Orion village, but the said male was in deep thought, hmm? You're wondering what he is thinking about. Let's take a little listen shall we?

'I'm so stupid!!!' Zero thought and was cursing himself mentally, 'why didn't I confirm if this is just a VR game or something'

Zero tried to swipe some sort of floating screen console found in most VR games (you nerds and Otakus now what I'm talking about, like any other Isekai or VR game anime *cough*SAO*cough*Log Horizon*cough*Accel world*cough*Overlord*cough*) but as luck has play it did not show, making him look stupid

'Okay.... It's no VR game but...'Zero thought of the fact that he may have been transported to another world but how and who would do that, 'HOW THE HELL AM I GONNA ACCES MY INVENTORY?'

Then a portal had appeared right in front of him, this made the male tumble a bit and there he cursed his rotten luck once again

"FUCK MY ROTTEN LUCK!!" Zero cursed out loud making Iris look at him

"What's the matter Zero?" Iris asked with a huge question mark on her face

"No never mind" the silver haired male dismissed

'Okay think of what you will do before doing so, brain over brawn.... That makes some sense' Zero thought, 'like that one anime, what was that anime's name..... Death march-or something or other. Welp it looks like I have to think about my inventory, then voila... although everything, stats, Items, even my Inventory is similar to Ignite'

END OF FLASHBACK    

"The traditions of the Dragon claw is: when someone is disrespected a duel must occur between both the accuser and the accused" Zero is now doing his best to not be cut by the blade, "and isn't it obvious that I'm cleaning my sword"

Then an elderly lizard man entered the room, one who looked like a worn out general with marks of battle and the marks of scale rot, he is also holding a gourd filled with sake

(Note: scale rot is actually seen in most reptiles, like crocodiles and alligators for example, they have this when they are inactive for a long period of time or due to old age and or due to territorial battles)

"Hey kid" said the battle worn lizard man, "are you sure that you want to go with this plan?"

"Before I answer" Zero asked while assembling Tenshi Muuho whole, "May I ask who you are first?"

"O~hoho a feisty yungin are ya?" said the Lizard man, "names: Alsero, general of the dragon claw tribe's army and teacher to young lizard men and lizard girls alike"
