Arc 1: Aftermath of the battle

All I see now is darkness until I felt myself gaining consciousness and a blinding light shined making me close my eyes and when I opened my eyes I came to inside the infirmary of the village

"Where am I?" I asked looking over the room

"You're in the infirmary of the village Kaede Dragonclaw" said a male voice coming from my side which was the human I disrespected, now I kind of bolted a bit to the side, "Right now you shouldn't move, and that's because of the fact the healers removed all your clothing and patched you up"

With that I instinctively used the covers of the bed to hide me 'Goods' and look at him with a disgusted look, plus I now have a blush on my face and to complete the set.... A tear on my eye

"P-P-P-ERVERT!!!" I yelled and he chuckled

"I was told about it since I saved you from that cursed blade of Surtr" he replied, "wanna know the whole story?"

I nodded and eased up but still covered my 'Goods', but before he talked some more the girl he came with was with my father, the village chief, a lizard man with a huge build and a lot of battle scars

"Fa-Father?" I stuttered in shock on why would my father be here?

"Kaede!" he then rushed towards me and into a tender loving hug, "I was so worried when you were also possessed by that flame demon"

I looked confused, the blonde woman is looking at me with relief, and lastly the black haired boy is now smirking which somehow irritates the hell out of me, which I don't know why

"Well should I explain the basic jist of that sword?" the boy, before I continue my name's Zero; the silver swordsman, this is Iris; the princess of Chaldeius"

My father let's go and looked at him with a serious expression, also Iris focused on him, while as for me I looked extremely confused

"Flamberg in comparison to most Divine class weapons is the only one who is cursed unlike the G-ranks who are all cursed" said Zero, "unlike Tenshi Muuho who needs to have a sacrifice to give you power beyond your limits Flamberg is a cursed magical weapon and let me tell you what happen after you were unconscious"

~~ FLASHBACK ~~

Zero's POV

Okay that's that...... Hold on a minute if I remember correctly..... Oh shit!! All of a sudden Flamberg burst out in a pillar of fire which then covered the entire stadium, but then a fire elemental had showed itself

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!" Laughed the elemental, "Finally I am freed from that accursed prison"

I readied myself and faced the elemental without fear on my face, holding Tenshi Muuho tightly and making up a plan, then I looked at Iris

"Iris!" she looked at me fearfully, "get everyone out of here, I'll buy you a few minutes, after that leave the fight to me"

"You can't be serious!!" Iris retaliated, "I'm fighting that thing as well'

"I can't let anyone be hurt or be near me once I start fighting seriously!" I yelled dodging an attack, "And plus you are the Ace in the hole to stop this war!"

Iris looked shocked at me and I dodge another claw swipe by the elemental

"And another thing!" I then parried the elemental's attack, "I can't let someone I lo..... I can't let anyone be hurt, now go!!"

Iris nodded and tried to help the people of the stadium, while Zero dodged another claw strike

"You are going to die human!" Said the elemental, "after I defeat you, I'll make you my new vessel, kill everything that is alive and rap this world in flames!"

"Too bad" I taunted, "Tenshi Muuho is a much more better blade than you"

I brandish my blade as the Elemental's claws were repelled twice by just moving the blade instantly and swiftly, but then I saw Kaede's unconscious body plumped on the ground, this made me a bit worried since she is still 'ALIVE'. My body moved on its own and dashed towards Kaede, lifted her in a bridal carry and dashed towards cove, I placed her somewhere she can't be touched by the flame

"Come out! Come out! Come out!" insinuated the Elemental, "Where ever you are!"

And all of a sudden I slashed the elemental in half but it regenerated instantaneously, and this is like those in game Vr health bars and I can also see my hp bar and mp bar near the side like a VRMMORPG interface

"This is like that time I defeated that same field boss called Flamberg" I taunted once more

And it worked, Flamberg is now going berserk, flailing both his arms around like a mad man

'Okay, I see three health bars and each bar is equivalent to 10K health and my Iaijutsu can take one down but has a long cool down time' I thought while dodging each strike, 'then I have to be quick, I wasn't called the strongest in Ignite for nothing, so right now I have to grasp the feeling of what it is back then'

I closed my eyes and focused on the feeling on playing the same click and point rpg game, and all of a sudden my body glowed silver with my aura repelling the flames

"I'll take you out in own blow!" I prepared for my stance and charged once more, [Iaijutsu-no-Kaiju!!!]

"KASHEEEEEN!!!!"

With a streak of multiple lights Flamberge was stricken by the skill and the Elemental bursted to a pillar of flame and dissipated in cinders

"CHECKMATE!!"

"Wait!" I said with a very worried look, "what happened to my weapon?!"

"After the battle ended, I send the broken fragments to the smiths" Zero said, "It is now being reforged as we speak"

"I..... See" I said as she looked sad

"I thank you lord Zero" said father, "we must prepare a feast for our new hero"

"You don't need to" Said Zero with a flustered tone

"Nonsense!!" Said father, "The great Imperio will not let something unrewarded!"

Then father walked outside, while we looked at each other, and then burst out laughing
