[Stories of Origin Arc] Chapter 7 - Fond Farewell

Cassini's POV

I will bid farewell to the place where everything has begun, the first meeting and emotions.

I will walk closer to my dream tomorrow with Huygens.

The last two memories are upon us that will happen during the last phase of our earthly adventure.

Huygens and I had no time to say farewell tomorrow. That's why Huygens and I decided to say goodbye on this day.

The place where really the dream is higher than anywhere, where hopes and dreams are born-the high bay is where I know that this is where I am physically born.

I can't forget the memories of where I lost my sister, where I first met Huygens, and where I know my purpose and myself.

The next chapter is really beginning for us.

Farewell, High Bay - my origin and thank you for keeping most of my earthly memories alive.

Huygens' POV

To tell the truth, the High Bay is where I first met Cassini but at Kennedy, that is where I finally attached to Cassini.

I can't believe that the day when I actually attached to Cassini is coming closer and closer to me. From time to time in high bay, I did talk to Cassini about my update on the European side. I still can't believe that both of us heal the friendship between America and European after the Ulysses issue.

But one hidden memory that we already restored offline is the memory when I learnt the truth, I will not go to Saturn with Cassini. Well...

I don't know if Cassini still can handle it. But like she said before, it is all in the past. She managed to put it all aside.

Cassini's POV

"..."

"Um...Huygens?"

"What's wrong, Cassini?"

"This is it...There is no turning back now."

"Well, kind of. We have a few more challenges to go- the final preparation and the launch."

"Yea."

"Don't worry. Once we finally understand why you were suddenly reborn, we may be able to return here."

Huygens suddenly reached up to my hand.

"It's all going to be alright, Cassini."

I smiled and reached for Huygens' hand.

"Yea."

Both of us hold each other's hand again, embracing our last night in High Bay under the night sky.

The Next Day

Huygens's POV

We took our one last look together and farewell when both Cassini and I had been covered up as we sense that we are drifting away from the high bay.

Both Cassini and I already said farewell to each other for now because I will arrive at Kennedy first before Cassini due to the fact that I need to return to Europe.

Thank you for making our love story begin, High Bay.

This marks the end of our first chapter but the second and the final chapter of our beginning has begun.

Cassini's POV

I don't know what happens next. But for sure, we are getting closer to the day when our journey begins.
