"Where are we going?" I asked as I grabbed my broom and followed Moody into the streets outside the orphanage.
"You'll find out soon." He replied. "Same formation as with Harry."
"You've seen Harry?" I wasn't surprised. Harry always seemed to be more important than me. Of course they'd make sure Harry was safe first.
"Yes. You're not the only one to be expelled." Mad-Eye told me.
"He was expelled too? But isn't he the perfect student? What will the school do without him?" I mocked, but no one but me found it funny.
"Enough questions Potter. Stay in formation, and don't break ranks if one of us is killed."
All witches and Wizards raised their right hand, summoning their brooms, ready to fly. Then everyone mounted their brooms, I was stood in between Mad-Eye and Kingsley in the line. One after one we lifted off the ground and flew through London, when we were in the air we formed a V shape like a flock of birds, Mad-Eye leading. I flew through the sky I had only been in a few hours ago, following the pack of witches and wizard. We passed houses upon houses, and soared above a shimmering river carrying brightly lit boats full of muggle passengers who didn't even know we were there. It was funny how muggles had no idea about us, everything happening right under their noses.
We came to a halt by a nearby empty average street, full of average houses with average muggles.
"We're staying in a muggle house?" I asked, as we approached a brick building, identical to the one's surrounding it. Each house had three stories and all doors along the street were a deep shade of blue.
"Yes, but none of these." Mad-Eye replied. As we stood there, Mad-Eye tapped the street road a few times with his cane and the ground began to shake. Two houses in front of us began to separate, growing further away to fit in another hidden house that looked the same as the rest. All nearby muggles seemed oblivious to the shaking as a couple to the left continued to watch something on their television. Once the house was in place the windows pushed out to look like windows and a balcony popped out on the first floor.
"Cool." I muttered. Surprisingly, out of everything I had seen in the wizarding world I had never seen a moving house.
"After you." Mad-Eye indicated, so I stepped up to the door and pushed it open.
As the door creaked it revealed a dark long hallway leading to a black door straight ahead and a set of stairs to the left. The house was old, the grey walls peeling and the hanging lights dim. The ceiling reached to the floor of the second floor and old pictures and scrolls were hung amoung the pathway. I slowly walked down the hall, so slowly the rest of the wizards pushed past me.
Mad-Eye approached the door at the end of the hall and opened it, everyone following behind him. There were more people in the room sitting around a long table. I stood in the doorway, watching the heated argument between the witches and wizards around the table. A man I recognised was sat opposite me, I knew him, but had never met him until that moment. Sirius Black. His hair fell to the bottom of his face in curls, the same dark brown colour as his moustache. Another man stood near him, and judging by the colour of his hair I guessed he was Ron's father, or at least a Weasley.
One wizard noticed me, and each began to look my way, it felt nice being the centre of attention instead of Harry for once.
"Elizabeth." Sirius smiled, but before I could say anything back a ginger woman came between us.
"So you're Elizabeth." She beamed as she walked up to me and shut the door behind her. "It's nice to finally meet you."
The woman came up to me and gave me a motherly hug, then pulled away and held my shoulders, smiling at me. "Hi." I replied.
"I'm Molly Weasley, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until after the meeting's finished for dinner. Harry's upstairs, first door on the left." She told me, pointing to the stairs on my left. I made my way to the stairs and looked back, Mrs. Weasley still beaming at me.
I turned around and headed up the creaking stairs. Once I got to the landing I faced a small elf, placing things into the cabinet in front of him. He kept muttering things to himself, about how he hated working for the Blacks, calling himself creature. I ignored the elf and continued up the second set of stairs, following Mrs. Weasley's instructions, first door to the left.
I opened the noisy door to reveal Harry, Ron and Hermione sitting on a bed in the room. "Elizabeth!" Harry called out as I walked over to them.
"Mad-Eye told me you were expelled too." I told him, sitting on another bed by them. I bet when Harry arrived he was greeted with hugs and emotion, but was I surprised? He was the more important twin to Hermione and Ron, they'd known him longer.
"Too? You were expelled?" Harry exclaimed, eyes widened.
"You were a part of the dementor attack?" Hermione asked with shock, of course she hadn't known. "This hearing at the ministry is outrageous, they can't expel you-"
"Well they did." I answered as I noticed a newspaper lying next to me on the bed. Harry, Dumbledore and I had our faces spread across it, so I picked it up and threw it across the room. "Why do you have that?"
The Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, was convinced that Harry, Dumbledore and I had been lying about Voldemort's return, so of course it was plastered all over newspapers like the Daily Profit.
"Ugh, never mind. Can someone tell me where the hell we are?" I asked, changing the question.
"Headquarters." Ron replied. "Part of the Order of the Phoenix."
"It's a secret society. Dumbledore formed it when they first fought You-Know-Who." Hermione explained continuing from Ron.
"I know what it is." I snapped.
