Before - Tom Riddle Love Story

Chapter Eight - Hogsmead Trip

"So are you ready " Samuel asked me as I nodded and fake smiled Samuel had asked me the other day if I wanted to go to hogsmead with him, and this morning he wasn't taking no for an answer literally carrying me out of the common room over his shoulder. He said that we had never been to hogsmead before and he wasn't going without me. We were standing outside in the courtyard the sun was shinning brightly, it was the perfect day to be outside. Professor Dumboldore stood by the fountain.

"Permission Slips please , please hand in all permission slips " he repeated over and over as all the third years gave in their slips and then we started to turn towards the road that lead to the town. "Please do well to remember it is an honor to visit the village, take it for granted by misconduct and it is a privilege that shall no be given again..." We head the professors voice say as it faded into the distance as we came closer towards the village, Annabella and Jacob soon joined us along with Septimus Weasly , and Xavier Lovegood. Apparently Annabella wasn't the only one who saw Jacob running around the school naked. Jacob made up this story about how he was dared too and everyone started laughing as he turned a light shade of pink. We entered Honeydukes. The sweet shop, everything seemed better now that I was in here. Candy's where flying off the shelves , coming around each corner. Everyone in the shops was smiling and having a good time Samuel laughed at something Xavier had said as he swung his arm over my shoulder. I quickly took his arm off me but that only caused him to glare at me. "Why can't I do that..." He questioned I was just about to answer when suddenly Xavier nudged him and began to speak and distracted him.

"Would you look what we have here." Samuel chuckled

"Shall we" he said stepping away from me and into another direction, I began to try and figure out what he meant. And then looked towards the direction he was walking and saw what he was going to do. "Sam don't " I began to say as he shrugged me off and began to walk towards them. "Well well well would u look what we have here boys..." He said circling Tom, Orion Black and Abraxas Malfoy. "Poor little Riddle, can't even afford to by a lemon drop.." He said walking closer towards him.

"Where's your mommy Riddle " he said as he placed his hands on toms chest. tom never said anything back, he just stood there. Orion quickly stepped forward towards Samuel. "Leave him alone" Orion said as Abraxas stood beside him "and what are you too going to do about it..." Samuel asked as he chuckled to himself.

Samuel took out his wand and placed it against toms neck, "Furnunclus..." Samuel shouted as worts began to surface up toms neck and onto his face. Toms eyes got caught with mine, and even though I was still mad at him for using the IMPERIO curse on me, a part of me felt sorry for him like all of a sudden it was all those years ago again. And standing right in front of me was that same little boy who needed my help.

Samuel saw tom look at me and this only seemed to make him angrier
"What you think she's going to help you riddle ....pathetic little riddle who could ever love you" he said as he threw tom onto the ground. That's it I couldn't take it anymore. I thought as I tapped on Samuels shoulder "yes my lov-" Samuel started saying as "FLUMP!!" My fist flew into his nose, sending him flying across the room knocking over a shelf, in the corner of the store. As he lay there holding his nose shouting in pain. As I walked towards tom and placed his arm over my shoulder and let him lean on me as a small group gathered around Samuel and myself and tom steppes out of the store.

I walked with tom until we came to a tree that had been knocked down, and it was just the stump that was left as I placed him against it. "I didn't ask for your help. I was handling it fine by myself "  he said as I  rolled my eyes, "don't start that again riddle " I said grabbing a few leaves from the tree next to us , and placed the leaves onto his neck. The leaves would take down the swelling until I could get him to a hospital.

"I thought you said we weren't friends." he asked as I pulled him up "we aren't..." I said as we began walk back towards the direction of the castle."then why help me " he questioned as I sighed heavily. "Pitty I guess " I said as we entered the castle. I took tom straight towards the hospital wing where madam Pomfrey standing as soon as she saw tom she quickly told me to lay him down on one of the beds.

"What happened " she questioned removing the Leaves from toms neck, the wounds have gone down just like I thought they would of and  a large red mark was left "there was a fight, tom just happened to be in the middle." I said as she nodded her head and then placed her hand on toms Stomach as he flinched in pain.

"Take that shirt off Mr Riddle, let's see whats going on." She said as tom slowly sat up and then took off off his grey shirt. His muscles tensed against the cold air in the castle. He slowly looked at Sierra who had already turned he head in the other direction. "Looks like a broken bone , nothing i cant fix." She said smiling sweetly before she walked towards her office "you can look at me you know, its not like you haven't seen me like this before"tom said as soon as madam Pomfry was out if sight. "Public pools at the age of 10 doesn't really count riddle because back then you didn't have all of this. "I said half covering my eyes and keeping my back turned "so you did look" tom said chuckling as I rolled my eyes "shut up Riddle." I said as he chuckled one ,last time before madam Pomfry returned.

"Drink this twice a day, for the next 5 days and you should be healed in a heartbeat " she said she tom thanked her and out his shirt back on and got off the bed and right behind me.

"You can turn around now Smith..." Tom said as I turned and bumped right into toms chest because he was so close, I looked up into his eyes when suddenly I heard a all to familiar voice echo threw the Hospital Wing.
