suddenly i woke up as the sun began to shine threw the windows, i got dressed into my uniform and brushed my hair and placed it in a long braid down my back, the other girls in the dormitory where all up and getting ready for classes, i sat down on my bed and looked at my timetable.
1ST SUBJECT - POTIONS WITH SLYTHIERN
2ND SUBJECT - HERBOLOGY WITH GRYPHINDOOR
3RD SUBJECT - DATDA WITH GRYPHINDOOR
I placed my books into a satchel and then began to walk down the spiral staircase towards the dungeons with Annabella by my side she smiled as we tried to find the classroom, it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be, but eventually we got there the room was filled with desks and caldrons students where already pilling into the classroom as Annabella noticed someone who she has met in the great hall this morning and then left me as i walked up towards the front of the classroom where Professor Slughorn was Standing.
"professor Slughorn?" i questioned as he turned his attention towards me. "yes my girl, how can i help you?" he asked placing his book the was momentarily in his hand on his desk. "I'm Sierra Greyback, your new student." I said causing him to nod his head and mumble to himself. ''Now where's the other student Annabella'' he asked as I pointed to her position in the back of the classroom with another girl.
"Now unfortunately I'm afraid everyone's got a partner Mrs Greyback but I could pair you with my star pupil Tom Riddle, if you promise not to bring down his marks...'' He said laughing loudly to himself pushing me towards the table, Tom shifted towards the end of the table, far away from me as if he didn't even know me. I pulled out my potions book just as professor Slughorn began to speak.
" now can anyone tell me what Amorthenita is." i shot up hand up quickly and then noticed tom's hand was up too.
"tom?" professor Slughorn asked as i put my hand down
" Amorthenita is the most powerful love potion in existence, steam rises from the potion and smells differently to each person according to what attracts them Professor." Tom said as i began to mumbled under my breathe "is there something you would like to share with the class Mrs Greyback." professor Slughorn asked as everyone's eyes turned towards me . even toms watching me carefully as if he was warning me not to say what i was going to say.
"i was just saying professor, that what Mr Riddle failed to mention is that it is known as Mother of pearl Sheen, a sprilling Steam Although Amorthenita cannot make the drinker fall in love with you, but it does cause a very strong and powerful infacutation or obsession towards the drinker. i said as Professor Slughorn looked at me astonished.
"but one should refer to more of what one knows from knowledge, not from what they read in books." Tom said looking towards me as i pursed my lips, "without books Riddle how would one know that knowleadge." i shot back at him as professor Slughorn stepped in.
"calm down you too..." Slughorn said as he chuckled slightly, "ten points for each of you" he said and then began to continue explaining that we would be making this potion and would need to work outside of class with our partners too.
"everyone look at the person next to you and and say hello to your new potions partner for the rest of your fifth year, Slughorn said as he turned around and walked back towards his desk, telling us to start with the potions and i rolled my eyes.
i opened my potions book and began to look at the potion , and began to gather all the ingredients i would need. but soon i felt a pair of golden brown eyes peering into the back of my neck, as i turned to look at him he quickly looked away. and began to scribble in his notepad.
suddenly the bell rang for the end of class, i was just about to ask him what his problem was when he quickly got up and pushed past me walking out of the classroom, i sighed heavily and pulled out my map. looking at where i needed to go for my next class. Herbology was outside in the greenhouse, i thought to myself as i began to look at the map and then suddenly.
BAM
"watch where you are going..." i said looking up to see Samuel Jennings tall , with jet black hair and deep green eyes, and to my defense my ex boyfriend. long story short Samuel isn't the loyal and relationship type. she was prettier and better than me. they all where and eventually we drifted apart. we decided it was best to be friends and that's all i wanted at this moment.
"to my defense, you did bump into me.." he said causing me to laugh as he looked at my map, "well keep on walking this way and it looks like you're going to end up in something called the black lake." he said smiling.
"i know where the Herbology classroom is ,come with me..." he said taking me by my hand and then walked me out of the the castle.

after Herbology and defense against the dark arts. myself and Samuel where walking down the staircases laughing as we hit the ground floor, "i had no idea they moved..." i said slowly laughing as Samuel smiled, "so Sierra i was wondering this weekend we get to go to hogsmead and i was wondering if you would like to go with me. "
"are you asking me out on a date?" i asked as he suddenly got very defensive, "no not a date i mean there will be other people there with us , some friends i met so it doesn't really classify as a date..." he mumbled scratching the back of his neck. he started to say when something distracted me. in the corner of my eye i saw my brother. waving his hands into the air trying to get my attention.
"ill get back to you.." i said pushing past him and then walking towards my brother. "whats wrong" i asked as he stared at me blankly, "we aren't all as forchenent as you , sierra did you forget what day it is?" he asked as i thought for a few seconds and then checked my calendar.
"I'm so sorry, i forgot " i said running my fingers threw my hair, "its fine , now are you going to help me or not.." he asked as i nodded my head looking around the castle making sure nobody was around to hear me. " meet me tonight , outside the castle...midnight.." i said as Jacob nodded his head and thanked me , hugged me and then we went our separate ways....
