The soulmates of time

prologue

      While driving home, the vibrations of my phone motion throughout my pockets. I look sigh, look around me at the currently empty roads and pull out my phone, answering it.

"Hey. Are you ready for tomorrow-"

     Tomorrow, that day most people are excited and happy about it. But it can also bring pain for some households and it can bring happiness for others, but for me, it brings dread. Dread that I will be forced to do anything and everything I'm told.

"and it's your first day of the sophomore year since the break."

     "Yea, I know Hyung. I don't want to go back because of all those people. You know I was getting bullied due to my heritage."

    An outbreak happened many years ago to where it almost whipped out the human race. It was known as 'Black Cocolitzli Antonine Break'. I know right? A very long name for a Plague. So we just call it BCAB. When the outbreak was done, there were only 105 million people. The surviving people had begone to develop new abilities such as super-hearing, faster speed, and stronger muscles. Well along with over 70% of the population being whipped out, new 'ranks' of sorts started to appear. I'm bullied because of my rank or lack of rank per se. 

 "I know Yoongi-ah. And I'm sorry but you'll get to be an alpha and so those brats who's boss!"

     "Thanks, Jin-Hyung and see you tomorrow." 

"No problem li meow meow!"

      "Hyung!" 

    Great, He hung up. I guess I should explain what an alpha is and some other things. First, Ranks or alphas and all that. 

   Alphas are normally taller, more possessive, stronger, faster, and caring with their mates. They are considered the leaders of pack/territories and the brains of most crimes. Alphas also have things called Ruts.  They are also the most misunderstood rank due to the new omega rights act going around. I honestly feel bad for the innocent alphas that get in trouble for no reason due to the act in place. I understand why there is an action happening but most omegas are abusing it.  

   Next are Betas. Beta's the rarest type of rank to present as. Betas (if one is born) are kind of almost like second leaders if that makes sense. Betas don't have ruts or heats because of their lack of animal instincts. So if they have to call out sick for work, they have to write a whole paragraph on why they can't come into work which I find ridiculous. (people who are honestly sick shouldn't have to write a paragraph on why they can't come into work.)   

     Lastly Omegas. Omegas are normally smaller, shyer, kind, caring, and soft-voiced. They are considered the 'weakest' rank out of the three and they also have things called heats. But they are only physically weak with their arms if they don't work out. They are in truth the strongest rank (in my opinion). They can just act all cute or sleep their way up and get more of a raise than an alpha. I don't trust omegas because of how many I know that are bitches. Omegas are the fastest rank out of the three. That's because of how small and petite their bodies are. (most times)  

  Now, I suppose I should have to describe what ruts and heats are. 

      Ruts happen every month and only happen to alphas. What happens in a rut is where the alpha starts to feel like they will die of overheat, very thirsty, and have an overwhelming need to breed the nearest omega or their mate. Alphas also have another unique thing that happens with ruts. They have something called a knot. It's where the base of the dick starts to swell up when approaching their climax. The knot is made to lock in the omega to ensure pregnancy or when the alpha and omega are about to mate.
