Lee and I spent all night in bed making up. I got up early the next day to cook us some breakfast.

Once it was done I took it to Lee in bed and was startled by hearing him yelling into the phone. He was talking slow but very deep and serious. I didn't mean to pry but I had never heard Lee speak like this.
"Where is my money Dino? " I heard him say. "You either pay me my cash or you pay with your life, you decide" he said before tossing his phone across the room. He got up and my heart was racing as I thought he would catch me eavesdropping. I took a breath of relief as he walked into his en suite bathroom.
I came into the room and sat the tray down. I knocked on the door letting him know his breakfast was ready. I headed back downstairs to put his plate in the oven to stay warm and I just couldn't let go of what I heard.
Who was Dino? And why did he owe Lee money? And was Lee some type of killer or something? More and more I began to think I knew absolutely nothing about this man. He was upstanding and successful but I was starting to feel Lee had a bad side to him that I didn't know about.
He startled me as he came up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist. I jumped to his touch.
"You ok baby" he said turning me around to loook into those eyes I had fallen in love with .
"I'm ok baby, you just startled me a little"
"What were you thinking about? I was calling your name for like 2 whole minutes?" He asked.
"Nothing really. I was just spaced out. I think I need a vacation or something"
"That sounds good. I'll plan us one for next week" he said kissing my jaw.
"No Lee. That's fine. I have work and you have your businesses and you just opened up the restaurant. It's too much." I said.
"That's why I hired workers so I don't have to be there Tati. And as far as your job.... quit." He said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Lee I can't quit my job. I make wayyy too much money and how would I live? I have a car note and condo that's not going to pay for themselves."
"Yea. About that condo. I been meaning to tell you you may as well move in here with me. I don't want to spend another night without you." He said.
I was so conflicted. I loved Lee and I wanted to make a future with him but where was all this coming from? He and I had never discussed these things before and I was shocked to hear that this was what he wanted. I wasn't going to just up and quit my job and give up my condo because he told me to tho. I was a fool in love but not a DAMN FOOL.
"Lee I can't do that. I love you but I don't need you to take care of me. I'm my own woman" I said.
"And that's what I love about you. You don't need anything from me. You take care of your own shit. And that just makes me want to give you everything your heart desires. You're mine Tati. Let me spoil you. Let me take care of you" He said.
"It sounds good Lee. But I'm honestly not ready for that. Give me some time to think about it "
"I understand love. But I'm still planning that vacation to so set up everything at work" he said kissing my lips and heading upstairs.
This man is something else. I don't know how I should feel but I do know I was kind of excited about taking a vacation. Hmmm I always wanted to go to Jamaica anyway.

I called up Brooke and let her know about this vacation Lee and I were going to take. I told him I wanted to go to Jamaica and he had been on the phone all morning getting all the plans together. Then I had an idea, Brooke and Rob could come too. That would be sooo much fun. Brooke agreed and said she'd get Rob on board. I hung up with her and went and told Lee the change of plans. He was cool with it and there it was. We were gonna take Jamaica by storm. And plus I always wanted to have sex on the beach as the waves flowed and the sun was setting. I couldn't wait .
