Scarlet's vow

Chapter 2

Severus Snape apparated to Prince Manor, Melody had to be here, there is no way Scarlet hid here on Spinners End, he hasn't seen his daugther since what feels like forever, but he knew his little girl would not witstand to stay there.  "Why are we here Severus, I told you Melody was safe, obviously she isn't here" drawled Scarlet as she finally entered her home. She teared up at the sight of her home, she used to come here with Severus once in a while, mostly on Chrismas breaks. She chocked up and for a moment she forgot her anger, all she could think of was the love she felt for Severus and all those good memories, he felt it too since he held her close. "Oh Sev...it's just as we left it, our home, it hasn't changed at all, are you even living here?"

"No, I stayed in my father's old house...it was too painful coming back and not having you both here" he admitted.   "She's in hiding, I'm her  keeper. I promised to get her back as soon as it were safe" she said to his husband while looking at him in the eye. Severus was still holding her close. "Let's go get her then" Severus whispered looking at his wife's lips. His mind wanted to get his daugther out of hiding, his body wanted to properly greet his wife back. "It's not safe still, let the people adjust to us first Severus" she whispered getting closer to him. "I missed you love"

"I missed you too Sev" then they kissed. Their kiss started to get very heated, it's been years since the both indulged in that carnal pleasure. They say Kings and Queens barely had sex, these two could vouch for that and agree, that they were part of a new Era, therefore things were about to change.

Meanwhile on the MACUSA headquarters in New York, stayed princess Melody Snape Bemerton. She was locked in an office vault...a cell of some sorts. Her vault was linked to the kitchens by a tube that sent her food...just like their jail cells. Melody atleast had her wand. She felt miserable and out of boredoom she cast her Patronus once in a while, it was a doe, just like her father's infact, her daddy was her happy memory.

Back in Prince Manor, in a mess of sweat and silk bed sheats, layed Scarlet and her husband, both enjoying the warmth of one another. They could've stayed like that forever.  It was Severus the one who broke silience. "Why did you truly leave Scarlet?, some crazy fan boy isn't enough to get you away from France"

"You had to ruin our bliss didn't you" she huffed "I already told you, Ministry wanted me dead, killed everyone who protected me, blah blah" she blabbled and snuggled closer to him. He held her close but his hostile tone never changed. "Scarlet, you could've come to me, in peace, we could've fixed this right away, but you decided to terrorize everyone, woman I can't believe you" he huffed letting her go, he proceded to sit upright on the bed. 

"Why must you ALWAYS scold me Snape!, Fine, I admit I could've been more graceful, but you must understand! I was mad, that old fool Albus kept me in hiding to evade a tragedy and I came back to one" she whined.  "Scarlet, your Father's counselor was right to keep you in hiding, it was for the greater good. You realize you've created another tragedy, don't you. You had no business killing those death eaters, love"  Severus tried to reason with her but she didn't want to listen. Scarlet was raged, she stood up and kept trying to reason with Severus. "Oh for the love of Merlin, Severus. GREATER GOOD? You sound just like the old coot. Besides, the Ministry can suck it, I'm shutting it down either way, since I'm back, we are the ones who should've picked their punishments. I just saved the Kingdom some money, the weren't worthy of trial" Scarlet was blinded by rage and Severus couldn't take it anymore. While putting on some pants he kept arguing with his wife."You forget witch! I'm one of those wizards you believe low enough, to not even be worthy of trial" he drawled.  "You're different love, you're my King" she said calmly.  "Scarlet are you even allowed to take the throne again think about that!"  Scarlet looked at him with disgust "Lord Snape, are you implying your Queen isn't fit to take her rigthful place?" She hissed while walking slowly to him. "I'm not implying anything, you've been cooped up in France for so long, I think, I think the madnesd has reached you dear. Also we've both been out of the throne for nearly 20 years..."

"NEARLY SEV!, you just said it, nearly, I only have 4 months to take down the Ministry or else we'll lose our throne. MACUSA has offered us shelter and a place in the states if something goes wrong but..."

"Do you seriously trust them? If something goes wrong do you truly believe they'll shelter the Ministry of Magic's first enemy? They'll dispose of us as soon as they see a chance for the Ministry to win against us" said Severus.

"They've been taking good care of Melody so far and besi-" Scarlet got quickly interrupted by her husband.

"YOU GAVE THEM MELODY!?!" Severus couldn't control himself anymore.

"You, oh you my dear, are WORSTE than those dunderheads I used to teach" said Severus while getting his traveling robes and his wand. "Don't you see, MACUSA offered to hide Melody because they see a chance of us to destroy the Ministry's regimen, they want the Ministry destroyed and shrunken down to a mere congress again. Then and only then can MACUSA and the newly reformed Brittanic congress fight for dominance and status on the wizard world. MACUSA basically believes it needs higher posture in the world, Wizarding Brittain has a a King and Queen, we technically don't need a Ministry." He drawled while getting dressed. He then proceeded to find some robes for his wife.

"That's a nice, inventive story dear, I still don't get how MACUSA could harm us dear" Scarlet grabbed the clothes handed to her, they were a tad too small to fit her, nothing a charm or two couldn't fix.

"They simply want you in their good graces, you are doing their job for them without them moving a finger. If we fail, they can turn us in and join the Ministry" he sighed "I'm leaving, Scarlet. I'm going after Melody, with or without you" said Severus finally. Scarlet quickly knew how to handle his husband. "Stop with your mind games love" she slured, she started to walk slowly towards him "You know perfectly well that she can't be fetched without me" she was now face to face with her husband. "Melody can wait an hour or two, don't you think so my Lord?" Scarlet did it, her husband was in a trance and their clothes were discarded on the floor, and once again they drowned each other in carnal pleasure.
