i hate you.but then i love you.
and i've only loved you, i've always have.
so when i put my hands around your pretty throat, you still loved me?
yes.the humid air suffocates them under the cloudless sky, the heat making them sweaty and sticky as they walk back to their small home.
"it's so hot!" she shouts, fanning herself with her hand as her partner giggles. "it's because i'm here." he says confidently, earning a groan from the petite woman.
"this is why sometimes i don't want to speak around you." they giggle at her statement, their hips gently bumping into each other as they walk.
they were always the tranquil couple, the calm ones that never fought, the definition of happiness. they were lemonade on a hot summer day, the hot chocolate in late december when the bitter cold leaves your skin with goosebumps.
"i love you." he says, whimsicality laces his honey voice in a silk ribbon, tying down the sincerity.
"i love you too." she returns that sweet gift back to her lover as they kiss upon that small word exchange.
their lips soft and tender for each other, their eyes closing at the small contact.
i love you.
then why did you leave me?
because you fell in love with him.
