Save Me Tonight (An IM5 Fanfiction)

Chapter One~ Meeting Cole

        It was about ten pm when my best friend and roommate, Eve, got home. She had been on a date with her boyfriend. They had been dating for a bit more than a year and to be honest I still haven't even meet the dude. We've talked about it and have made plans but it always seems like one of us has to cancel.

       I mean I never really went out much unless it was to my job, which I don't have anymore. I had a limited amount of friends. They were all people that I would hang out with in high school. And given that I have graduated less than a year ago, it was kinda easy to keep in touch. But basically what I'm saying is that meeting new people would probably be good for me.

       When Eve walked into the apartment I was watching 'Dear John'. I don't know exactly why I was watching it but I was. And I mean romance was my favorite genre of anything anyway so I didn't mind. The black and blue haired girl sat down next to me with the hugest smile I had ever seen on her face. "Looks like someone had a fun time." I mumbled as I looked down to check my phone for any messages that I had missed, but of course there were none.

       She sighed happily. "Uh, yeah. I had fun." She looked over at me and then at the tv. "What are you doing tomorrow? Because Cole wanted me to ask you if you would mind being one of the extras in his bands music video. All you would have to do is stand there and look pretty. It would also be a chance for you to finally meet Cole plus the rest of the band." Eve stopped for a moment and then continued." I'm going to be in it too if that makes it any better. It should be fun." She smiled, but this time not about Cole. This time she was smiling at me. But then she looked down at her phone and began texting someone. Probably Cole.

       "Well, It's not like I have anything better to do. So I guess I'll do it. So it's just going to be you, me, and the band, right?" I ask for confirmation.

       "No, it's supposed to be big. I'm guessing fifty to a hundred extras so you won't be noticed much." Eve yawned too as she stood up and stretched, 'We're leaving at eight am, so sleep is probably a good option about now." She advised as she walked over to her bedroom door. "Good night, Tye." She said before entering her room and closing the door behind her, leaving me all alone again.

       At first I was kinda afraid of what the band would think of me. But do I actually care? Even if they didn't like me I don't think I would. They could honestly think whatever they wanted and not bother me. In the music video i'll try not to be noticed. If there are as many people as Eve said there would be it should be hard to get lost in the crowd. Even if I wanted to be noticed, with how average I am and with that one hundred people, It would be kinda hard. So trying not to be noticed shouldn't be hard.

       I laid down on the couch, not really wanting to make the trip to my room. I feel asleep. It was probably for the best that I got more sleep anyway.

       It was about six am when I was rudely awakened by Eve. She was dressed and everything. Although she did say we were leaving at eight so why was she in such a hurry?

       "Wake up, Tye!" Eve began shaking me violently.

       "Eve, we need to get going." A brown haired boy stood by the front door. "We still need to stop by my parents house. They wanted us to stop by." The boy, who had to be Cole, reminded Eve.

       I sat up sleepily, looking over at the boy and then back at Eve.

     "I know, but she has no other ride and she can't drive herself." The blue and black haired girl sighed as she looked over at her boyfriend.

       "Dana can pick her up. He has to drive past this place anyway." Cole pointed out.

       "Do you think he would though?" She asked, looking back at me. They were seriously talking about me like I wasn't even there. Wow.

       "I'm pretty sure. I mean I can't remember the last time Dana has interacted with a person of the opposite gender other than you or his mother. " Cole laughed. " And If not we'll just get Dalton to pick her up."

       "I'll be fine guys." I yawned as I sat up, leaning against the back of the couch.

       "Okay, well, we have to go. Someone will be here to pick you up in about an hour." Cole grabbed Eve's hand and began to pull her towards the door. "And it's nice to finally meet you, Tye." He smiled. I smiled back without saying anything. And then they left. And with that, I was once again alone.

       Why was this so much trouble and why did I even agree to do this? I could have just meet Cole another day. And now I'm going to get picked up by some stranger .

       This is turning out to be more trouble than its worth.
