"It's really dark over that way." i said pointing out towards a torrent of dark clouds matched with the gray and black landscape. It was like the blood red we were standing on came to a complete halt up ahead and turned into something scarier, darker, and more ominous.

"The Dark Lands." Percy replied kicking a rock at his foot.

"Oh yeah i mean, why not." i said with a shrug. Percy smiled at me but the grin didn't reach his eyes. He was thinking about something else. "What's on your mind?" i questioned. He glanced my way then at our friends flanking us. Right now we were all sort of in a straight line. Just not bumping shoulders. Nico and Hazel were off to my right talking in hushed tones about two steps behind us. Jason and Thalia were on Percy's left not saying anything as we trudged along.

"Nothing. I was just thinking of the last time I was down here, with Annabeth." i nodded. It still surprised me that he had been down here before and that he had been here with Annabeth. Were they together at this point or just friends? "We ran into this monster that was reforming. Hyperion." he mutters.

"The Titan of light." i say immediately. Percy smirks.

"You are really into mythology weren't you?" he questions. I blush lightly and shrug.

"It was fascinating. Living it, not so much." i sigh and Percy nods his head in agreement. "There was also this really dumb game i played. God i forgot what it was.." i tell him tapping my chin thoughtfully.

"Mythomagic?" Percy speaks up immediately. I snap my fingers and point at him.

"Mythomagic. How did you know? Did you play?" Percy starts laughing and shaking his head.

"No Nico did. Hey! Nico!" he starts shouting over at him.

"Oh god." i murmur turning pink.

"What?" Nico calls back looking bored.

"Remember that card game Mythomagic?" Nico scowls in response like he's recalling a bad memory. I think he actually started to blush too because his cheeks became slightly tinted.

"What about it?" Nico grumbled.

"Violet used to play." Percy says pointing at me. Nico shifts his gaze and stares at me.

"Well i didn't really play so much as i collected the cards and stared at them for hours. I didn't really have friends so.." i paused shrugging as i rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly.

"Our dad was badass in that game by the way." i say turning to look back at my brother.

"How so?" i grinned.

"He could create hurricanes and whirlpools. He has like 5,000 attack points." i tell him excitedly.

"Correction he would only have that attack power if you also had the infinite ocean card." Nico says next to me scaring the crap out of me.

"Jesus Nico don't scare me!" i cry out shoving him a little. "Besides i know that, I'm speaking as if i do have the infinite ocean. Which i did when i played the game." i replied huffily crossing my arms. Nico smirks.

"What was the best card you had?" i furrowed my eyebrows thinking about it. "Definitely Medusa because she had something like a thousand defense points. Literally if you had her you were unbeatable." i said happily gesturing toward the ground.

"Unless someone drew the hero card and called on Perseus." Nico commented. I elbowed him.

"Shut up. Hero cards are rare to draw." Percy grinned at this exchange. "What was your favorite card? Your dad?" Nico scoffed.
