I'm mixing up some cake batter when I hear the annoying scream of my phones ringtone. I quickly scramble to grab my phone accidentally clicking answer during the struggle before I drop it. "Ahhhhh please don't have broken" I say before tons voice fill the speaker in a slightly higher pitch than normal. "Wait what are you ok?" As I quickly once over my phone and put it on speaker I say" yep just clumsy and dropped my phone again!" Tom chuckles and I hear a small bark in the background "Tessa!" I shriek before it's returned by another little bark. "Seems like Tessa want to talk to you!"
I chuckle before saying "well mister you promised that I would get to meet that little one and that hasn't panned out yet has it?" I hear a yell in the background before Tom yells back to whoever was yelling "I'm on the phones shut up! Ok sorry about that, I guess we haven't sorted that out. So how about you swing by here this weekend if that is good?" I take a couple of breathes before saying "sure maybe next time you do the don't spring it like that!" Tom just laughs before saying goodbye
