"Just Friends."

chapter 5

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. It was around 8:40 in the morning and me and Steve both had work at 10:00. I shook him until he woke up and then kissed him on the cheek. "Im going to get in the shower so you can sleep in for a few more minutes." I said with a smile. "Mhhm." He said with his eyes still closed. I got up got my clothes and jumped in the shower. I took a quick shower to Steve could take one. I got out and got ready. My outfit consisted of a white tank top, my DX shirt buttoned almost all the way up, black skinny jeans with my shirt tucked in, and black converse. I didnt wear that much makeup, I put on some winged eye liner, mascara, and some concealer. "Steve you can get in now!" I called him. He walked in with just boxers on. I tried not to stare too much at his body but it was pretty hard. "What are you looking at?" He said with a smirk. "Oh nothing. Can i have your keys so i can get you some clothes while your in the shower?" I said smiling. I know how to drive i just dont have a car yet so it was fun when i did have the chance to. "Yes. Can you get me my dark jeans please?" He said. "Yes ill be right back." He gave me a kiss and i left. I drove to his house and knocked on the door. His dad answered. "Hey Jess hows it goin'?" He said. He was a pretty nice guy. "Oh just came to get some clothes for Steve." I said while i made my way to his room. I grabbed all with clothes and of caurse his hair oil. "Okay im all done, see you later." I said to his dad. "Okay goodbye Jessica." He said. I drove back to my house and went in my room. Steve only had a towel around his waist. "Oh sorry, heres your stuff." I said while my ears started to get red. "Jess you dont have to be sorry." He said smiling and gave me a kiss. "Well hurry up or we'll be late." I said with a smile. "Im hurrying!" He said laughing. I went in the bathroom to do my hair. It was almost fully dry so i french braided parts of it into a messy bun. We were both all ready a few minutes later and went to the car. "Can I drive please?" I said. "Sure but I've never let anyone drive my car so you better feel special." He said with a smile and handed me the keys. I drove there and we got out. Soda was already there and we were planning on telling him the big news. We walked in holding hands and Soda was at the cash register. "You guys are dating!" He said seeming very happy. "Yes we are and your the first to know." Steve said with a smile. I was just standing there smiling. "Well we got to tell the gang!" Soda said. "Yeah we wanted to after work." I said. We all agreed to go after work after we were done talking we all got to work. Steve went to the garage to work on cars, Soda went and pumped gas into some persons car, and i worked the counter. I was really excited to tell the whole gang about me and Steve and couldn't wait to get off work.
