"Baby" Ariana asks coming into the front room. "Yeah princess" he asks smiling up to her looking up from his phone. "Did we urm use protection when we had sex the other day" Ariana asks "yeah why" he asks nervously. "Nothing" she says walking into the kitchen.

Pete gently lifted a sleeping Ava off him and followed Ariana into the kitchen. "What's wrong beautiful" he asks "I haven't come on that's all" she sighs "Baby I know you don't want a baby but don't you think you should take a test just in case" he asks "who said I didn't want a baby" she asks looking up to him. "Ariana" he says and she sighs and nods. "I'll have to go and buy one" she says "nope I'll go you can stay with Ava I'm sure when she wakes up" he kisses her head and Ariana nods.

Pete grabs his car keys and leaves.

"Mummy" Ava smiles "hi baby" Ariana smiles "where's daddy" she asks looking up to her mum. "He's gone to buy something for mummy" she smiles picking her up.

"How you feeling" Ariana asks "I'm okay" she smiles kissing her cheek. "I love you sweetheart" Ariana smiles "I love you too mummy." She smiles "can I have a drink" she asks and Ariana nods grabbing her a drink.

Ariana places Ava Down to her feet before handing it her. "Will you and daddy have a baby" she asks "yeah" Ariana replies "so I'll have a sister or brother one day" she asks "you will." ariana replies.

"Hi daddy" Ava smiles "hi baby girl" he smiles ruffling her hair. "Daddy" she slaps him "no" Ariana warns her making her hug Pete.

"I love you really" she giggles "I know you do but you don't slap people" he tells her "why mummy slaps you" she says "no I don't" Ariana spits her drink out making Pete chuckle.

"Come on you let you to bed" Ariana pats her bum. "Okay mummy" she smiles as Pete carries her to her room letting her get changed.

She climbs into her bed and Pete reads her a bedtime story before Ariana kisses her goodnight.

"Baby we need to do this" Ariana sighs making him stand up and hug her. "It's okay" he rubs her back. "What if it's positive" she asks "then we work through it we do what we want" he tells her and she nods "so you wouldn't leave" she asks "your not getting away from me that easy" he says making her smile.

They go up to the bathroom. "Stay" she asks "I don't want to make you uncomfortable watching you have a wee" he says "please" she asks and he nods. Ariana takes the test. Pete watches her as she shook. She handed him the stick and he placed it on the side picking up Ariana. "Shhh it's okay" he holds her.

"I didn't wipe" she mumbles "want me to" he asks and she nods her head hiding her head. He grabs some toilet roll and wipes her before helping her dress again.

He carries her out to the bedroom and lays her down on the bed cuddling her. "I'm sorry princess" he rubs her back "we need to know it's okay" she sniffs.

After a few minutes "Baby can you look. I don't want to" Ariana asks and he nods standing up and heading to the bathroom and picking the stick up.
