"Hey beautiful girl" Pete smiles opening is front door to see Ariana and Ava since he had invited her over since he was having a family night sort of thing. "Thank you" Ava smiles "damn the kid is the death of me" Ariana pouts kissing Pete's lips before entering.

"Hi little one" Amy Pete's Mhm smiles "ahh mummy" Ava runs back into Ariana's arms. "Wow your stunning" Amy says "thank you" Ariana smiles "damn why do you take a compliment from her and not me" Pete frowns "I don't know" Ariana giggles before bending down to her little girl.

"She won't hurt you princess" Ariana tells her "okay" Ava looks up shyly. "Hi" Amy smiles "hi" Ava still stay close to Ariana. "Can I have my teddy" Ava asks looking up to her mum who nods her head handing it to her.

Pete leads them both over to the sofa and Ariana sits down. Pete hands Ava a few toys that he had when he was younger.

"Relax Ariana" Pete takes her hand. "I know I know I'm sorry I guess it's always hard for a girl to block out people's opinions" Ariana sighs leaning against him, he wraps and arm around her side and rubs her side gently.

Ava was running round the garden with Pete's youngest cousin having the time of her life while Ariana and Pete talked with his family. As the time went on Ariana got more comfortable being around them.

"Come on" Pete holds his hand out for Ariana who smiles and takes it. "Where we going" Ariana asks "just to sit alone for a bit" he smiles and she nods walking over to another chair a little away from everyone else but still so they were close.

"I love you" Ariana smiles "I love you too" Pete smiles back rubbing her back. Ariana's eyes look at the door. "Baby girl" Pete asks "please get me out of here" she stutters "okay okay" he picks her up carrying her to his bedroom.

He placed her down wiping under her eyes. "You want me to get Ava" he asks and Ariana nods.

"Ava sweetheart" Pete asks making her run over to him. "Where's mummy" she asks making grabby hands to him which he picks her up and takes her upstairs.

"Mummy" Ava runs over to her cuddling into her. "Don't cry mummy it will be okay" Ava says kissing her mums cheek. Ava cuddles into Ariana's chest as she slowly starts to fall asleep from all the running she had been doing.

"Baby girl can you tell me what's wrong" Pete asks gently. "Who came through the door" Ariana mumbles "a family friend called James" Pete says confused only making her cry even more. "Ariana I want to help you. I love you can you tell me what's happened you were alright" he asks "I haven't told anyone this" she sniffs "shhh I won't tell anyone. I'll be here to support you" he rubs her back.

"Ava wasn't my choice" Ariana sobs remembering the night cry clear in her head. "I was at a average teenage party which wasn't very average. Everyone was drunk well I wasn't I had only had one drink" Ariana sniffs. Pete sat and listened to her story wanting to help her.

"I was taken to the back of the garden and and" she stutters looking down to her precious girl. "He rapped you" he asks gently and Ariana nods breaking down in floods of tears "it was him Pete." She sobs.

"Hey man you ran off" James comes through the door. "Get out" Pete says calmly one because Ava was asleep and two because Ariana clearly didn't want him near her. Yes he knew she had a past and knew she was hurt but seeing someone who hurt you only makes it 10x worse.

"Amy Pete has a girl in his room" James says "it's his girlfriend" she says "well she's in floods of tears" he says making her stand up and head to his room.

Pete looks up and sees his mum standing in the door way. "Can you get James out the house" Pete asks still trying to calm Ariana down. "What did he do" Amy asks "look at that little girl and than to Ariana" Pete asks making her nod and go down and get James out the house before walking back up to Ariana.

"Sweetheart" Amy asks making Ariana pull her self out of Pete's neck. "I'm sorry" she rubs her back "ill give you some space" she gives Pete a soft smile before leaving the room.

"Will you be okay if I go and get something from the spare room" Pete asks and Ariana nods. He kisses her head before walking out and getting a bed rail and walking back to his room and clipping it onto the side of his bed so Ava wouldn't roll off the bed.

"Can I go sleep" Ariana asks "of course you can" he says "want a top of mine" he asks and Ariana nods standing up and walking over to him.

Pete smiles sadly wrapping her in a hug "will you sleep too" she asks "I'll tell my mum what we're doing and I'll come and sleep" he kisses her head handing her a top.

"Mum Ariana wants to sleep" Pete says and she nods "that's fine I'm guessing you are too" she asks and he nods walking away.

"Pete" she calls making him look back at her. "Ariana means more to us than James remember that" she says "mum if it wasn't Ariana and was another girl I would want nothing to do with him either way no girl should ever have to go through what she has" he replies before walking upstairs.

Pete looks for some clothes to wear since he was used to just sleeping in his boxers he grabs some shorts and a top and slides in next to Ariana.

Ariana kisses her giggles head before gently moving her over before cuddling into Pete and falling off to sleep.
