Suprise Meeting

Even though the war ended in the favor of the monsters, still, few village of the people cannot touch them, for the members of the Monster Hunters still guard it. They are the last soldiers that fight against the monsters.

One of the best is Yunlan. He may look like a carefree person outside, but in the midst of battle, he can crush his enemy easily. With the help of his magical sword, hunter lance and the most powerful whip that can desintegrate a monster easily.

As a Monster Hunter, he can sniff danger if it came, but he is not ready to face what fate will come to him. While the people prepare for the feast, all Monster Hunters guarded the entrance and the exit doors of the city.  Because of the Jade bracelet Shen Wei walk easily right through the entrance, disguising as a scholar with rounded glasses to hid his eyes. The city is bustling with people, horses and stalls. Many foods stall around the street that was designed beautifully for the feast and many masks are in selling for the masquerade ball tonight.

Shen manuvere and studied every detail in the city, he didn't notice that his money is been pickpocket by a small boy. "Hey, that's mine!" He ran after him only to be cornered in the dark alley by tugs. "Hey look at him! Why don't you give us all your belongings?" A fat guy said while shoving Shen at the wall behind him, while the other tugs hold a big knife.

"It's only two of them, I can easily fight them. But it will alarm the Hunters." Shen Wei whispher to himself. "Brothers! Please don't hurt me, here you can take everything!" While pretending to be scared. But one of the tugs saw the Jade bracelet and tried to take it off on Shen Wei's wrist. He was about to fight for it, when out of no where a fist punches the face of one of the tugs. The man tumbel backward unconsciously. Yunlan quickly kick the other to the face too, the fat tug dive to the alley floor but not before pulling one of the sleeves of Yunlan. The mark revealed infront of Shen Wei. He was shocked to see who has it, Yunlan thought that Shen was frighten by the tugs to utter a word.

"Excuse me, sir? Are you alright? Do you need help?" While extending his hand to help Shen Wei's up. "Your-" before he can continue Yunlan introduce himself. "I'm Zhao Yunlan, Cheif of the Monster Hunter, if ever you need help just call me." He smiled sweetly. "Shen Wei." Is the only word he can utter until he mentally block out.

Minutes passed, in the room of Yunlan, he's still staring at the unconscious Shen Wei on his bed. "Hey, Yunlan what did you do to make that scholar faint?" Da quing asked while his nesting in his cat form on the table. "I just introduce myself while helping him with those tugs, maybe he was dazzled by my looks." He winked at Da quing. The cat just rolled his eyes. " Or maybe your not good to his heath." While licking his fur. Yunlan just shurged it off. "Did Lin Ching throw them in the dungeon?" As he return his gaze to Shen's sleeping form. "Yes, Chu is interogating them." while the cat purr. "You know for a scholar, his very beautiful." While Yulan staring intensely at Shen Wei. "Oh no! I see that look in your eyes, we have many problems already, many women is flirting with you, while their boyfriends who wants to behead you, don't add this scholar, his family might be one of the most powerful officials here. So stop, What are you thinking!" While Da quing is babbling non stop, Yunlan can't hear him, he's in his own world, staring at Shen Wei in a sleeping form. He never seen a person with such beauty.

Suddenly, Shen's beautiful eyes slowly open and turned to face Yunlan. He stared him for a bit and realize the other has been staring at him for a quite while. His face suddenly become redden until to  the tip of his ears. He tried to sit up only to be held by Yunlan on his shoulder. His heart suddenly want to burst outside of his chest. "Hey, are you okay, Shen Wei?" Yunlan didn't know what impact his doing to him. "Yes, you can't let go of my arm now" Shen tried to wiggle out of Yunlan reach. But it only led to Yunlan brushing his hands on Shen's cheeks. "Wow, your cheeks are red like a tomato. Are you having a fever?" while flirting he gaze on Shen. "I can't believe this is the cute kid I once helped. Oh why? he's a guy and a Monster Hunter?" Shen Wei's continue to battle his inner thoughts.

How can he explained to the council that his mate is the notorious Cheif of Monster Hunter? They will roast him. He didn't know the cute and harmless kid would grow up to be his enemy? How can he convince Yunlan to come with him or maybe he can kidnapped him. But that might alert the other hunters or  can he  be kidnapped without fighting him in the first place. Many thoughts are running in his mind, suddenly, he was awoken by Yunlan's handsome face, looking at him intensely.

"Can you be my date at the ball tonight?" That gaze is trying to melt Shen Wei. To late to acknowledge what happen, he just said yes. While Da quing jaw dropped. "Yunlan! Aren't you listening to me?!" Da quing bolt out in anger. While Yunlan happily held the hands of Shen Wei, squeezing it non stop. On the other hand, Shen Wei's mind float to nowhere on how to handle the situation. "You won't regret it, I promise you. Will have a wonderful time there." While beaming his best smile. Because of that Shen made up his mind. Whatever might happen he will have Yunlan no matter what. He put his best shy smile back at him in which it automatically shot in Yunlan's heart. Both of their mark glim intensely.
