The Marriage Contract

The Past

     It was the year when the Dragon tribe rule. For no one dare to oppose them or death will welcome for them. Many tribes secretly meet each other, to make a plan how to destroy the Dragon tribe. "We have a planted a spy in one of the slaves. He want revenge.  His family was burned  and killed by the Dragon tribe.

     The King of the Dragon tribe have five sons, one of them is the lonely Kunlun. The Mountain Dragon one of the youngest of the siblings. He maybe one of the best in tactics and fighting  but he hate politics and would rather be alone on his mountain.
     They have festival this night, for they have conquered another tribe. As the party started the King announce the engagement of Kunlun and Kian. Kunlun was suprise he was not informed, for he never knew this Kian person. As the drums played. Princess Kian and her family emerge to congratulate the King for his success. "Kunlun welcome your bride to be and give her your Jade ring as a sign your engagement to her."

     Kunlun innerself is getting furious, he was an obedient son and obey his  Father every command. But this time, he wants to be free and just be in his mountain with his dragon. As he look towards the new slaves that is brought. He walks toward them, ignoring princess Kian. Everyone is shocked including his Father. As he gave his Jade ring to one of the slave. "I will be engaged to this one, my Father. The bewildered slave just look at him, as he unlock  the chain from his hands. Furious, his Father slap him infront of his people. "Never again set your foot at our tribe! Get out! Your not my son anymore!" Kunlun took the slave and ride his dragon toward his mountain.

     As he set his foot on his mountain, he felt relieve and relax. As he  loose his grip to the slave. He just sat there at the edge of the mountain feeling the cold breeze. He never notice the slave sit beside him. "Your different from them?" As he looked at him with that almond eyes. Kunlun was suprise. "Wait! Your voice?  Are you a man?" The slave nod. Kunlun laugh, I thought your a pretty girl. So, I'm engaged to man as well. He laugh so hard. "Beautiful. " The slave said. Kunlun stop laughing. "What did you say?"  The slave repeated, "Your beautiful when you laugh." Kunlun blushed and stand up, "you must be blind, maybe my brothers but not me. Hey! What's your name pretty one." As he extend a hand. "Wei."

He took his hand, as he tried to stand up, forgetting  both his ankles are still chain,  he fell down to Kunlun's arm.   Ha...Ha....  Look let's first unchained this. Said Kunlun. As he unfastened the chain. They meet each  otheir eyes. Something magic happen, they fell in love. "How about I call you Shen Wei?" Kunlun said. Shen Wei just nod and kiss him. Kunlun was suprise such a bold slave kissing him, for the first time they met. But his melting in the kiss as he responds back.

     Everyday was a happy day for them. Never in his life his been so happy and free. As Kunlun laid his head on Shen Wei's lap, "Shen Wei, I didn't know you like birds. I once saw you caught a bird and free it in the air. Shen Wei paused for a while. As he smile, "Yes and I want them to be free to fly in the air.  Kunlun could you promise me something." As Kunlun looked at him, "What?" As Shen caress his hair, "  Remember this, no matter what  happen, I will always love you." Kunlun was puzzle. "Why all sudden, it's like your leaving me? If you do that, I will chain you again, so won't never leave me!" Shen suddenly cried. Kunlun suddenly sit up and tried to wipe away his tears, "I'm just kidding, I won't chain you." Shen embrace him," I know." Kunlun never knew  why Shen so stressful this past days. He can only promise to him that he won't leave his side.

     But that promise end, as Kian and company came to need his help, his tribe is been destroyed by the other tribes. Kunlun was suprise."But how, they're the
almighty  Dragon tribe, no one can kill them unless they know their secret, but who?" Kian gave him a letter, "We found it wrapped at a bird's foot. As she touse the dead bird. Yunlan recognize the bird. "It couldn't be."  Shen Wei eyes fell down at the pigeon to Yunlan. " Is this yours? Did you betray me? Then all you say was all lies?!"
Shen Wei tried to explain but was interrupted by the scream of their other companions. The other tribes have already penetrated his mountain. He told to Kian to leave without him, he will deal with the enemies.

     Kunlun was a great fighter, no one can defeat him not until Shen Wei come along. His feeble lover is none other than a Dragon Slayer. How can he miss it, everytime his gone to get food, his fighting his brothers one by one. The fool Kunlun always give him information on how to defeat his brothers. His angered flame as he about to hit Shen Wei by his sword. His dragon has been captured and killed by the other tribes. His strength has gone, one of tribes man sphered him at the back. Shen Wei blocked the other spheres. "What are you doing?!  His our enemy!" One of the tribes man said. Kunlun has his chance, he pierce a dagger in Shen Wei's back. As he whispered, " I told you I would chain you up , so you won't leave me." Shen Wei looked at him with a teary smile, "I'll never will leave you. I will always love you , my Kunlun. As he kiss his lover for the last time. A tear drop run from a smiling Kunlun. He embrace Shen Wei as they fall to the edge of the mountain, never to be seen again.

     At the present, Shen Wei and Yunlan appeared at their room.  Yunlan distangle himself from Shen Wei and sit at couch  and laid his feet at the table couch. "Thanks for defending me wifey. Dad angered  sure sky rocket." Shen Wei sit beside him,  "Wait, you trick me again! I can't believe this!"
Yunlan looked at him and smile, "You can't help it, your husband is so fabulous, luckily you"ll marry me." As he wink. Shen Wei got so mad, he dash to the bathroom door with a slam. "Ah wifey sure is cute when mad." But suddenly a real head ache came crushing him, he saw the event happen one by one, how the Dragon Lord fell in love with the slave, how's he been betray and died together falling in a cliff. He tried to stand up while looking at mirror. A women voice echoing in his ear. It suddenly appeared in the mirror, a beautiful woman with long dark hair and dark eyes, it's blue gown cascade on the floor as it trying to reach him, Kunlun name was called. "I missed you, it said." Yunlan heart is aching he tried calling Shen Wei. But his voice won't come out. His hands glow at it shattered the mirror. Shen Wei hearing that, rushes outside the bathroom, seeing Yunlan on his knee with pain. "Yunlan!" As he carried him to bed. "What's wrong!? Tell me!?" As he clutches Yunlan hands. "Shen Wei. I saw him with the old version of you. You betray him and both of jump over a cliff. I was so scared."  Is he crying, Shen thought. As Yunlan reach for his face, She Wei hold his hand and feel it with his cheek. "What's going on with you?" As he whispered to Yunlan. "I saw her, she's trying to reach me in the mirror, so I broke it.'' Shen Wei was lost, "Who?" He whispered her name, "Kian. She will come back for me as he hugged Shen Wei tightly. "Don't let her take
me away, I might lose my memory again and won't remember you." Shen hugged him back, "Don't worry, no one gonna take you away from me, over my dead body!"
