Regardless of the numerous reminders that (Name) would give Gun the boy still fervently fought.  In the weeks after the Jae Won High School auction she got to see just how presupposed fighting was to Gun's job as well as her own.

On her first day after the auction Gun and (Name) went on a job only a few minutes from Gun's apartment.  He was checking in on one of his successors.  Gun had told (Name) this type of thing would become her job once she got used to it.  He had a few options open and didn't want to check up on them himself all the time.

Getting out of the car the day's strong breezes pushed (Name)'s hair back.  She and Gun were at the rendezvous point.  It was a small park on the outskirts of the city, but it felt big because of the few people visiting it.

"He's not here yet," Gun mentioned.

"You seem annoyed by that even though you're the one fifteen minutes early.  Is this a normal thing for you?"

Gun gave a light huff.  "It doesn't matter.  Arriving on time is practically being late when it comes to this business.  People wont wait up for you if you waste their time".

"Seems a little intense to me," (Name) hummed.

"You're always ready before I pick you up from the hotel you're in now, but you wont hold others to the same standard. I'm not taking any brats that can't plan ahead under my wing".

"I can see your point, but my opinion is still the same".  Gun tossed a look (Name)'s way, but didn't say anything.  Instead they waited in silence.

It was peaceful in the park, and waiting gave (Name) a chance to enjoy it.  Some birds chirped and the sky was clear with wind keeping it from getting hot.

It took a while, but eventually Gun's successor walked up. He had a lot of tattoos like that boy from the auction, and a scar on his face that cut through his lip. His eyes were sharp and he looked strong. He was the type of guy (Name) would expect to be a candidate for Gun's position.

Gun didn't look like the happiest camper.  (Name) figured he must have still been upset about waiting.

"Jake Kim, is there a reason you're so late or do you just not respect me enough to show up on time?" (Name) swiped a look at the kids watch.  He was only two minutes late.  Gun was brutal with this stuff.

Jake tried to explain, but it seemed like Gun wasn't interested in hearing it.  From the look on Jake's face he seemed surprised by his coldness as well.  It must not have been a normal thing.

"Stop rambling.  Do you have the money or don't you?  My associate and I don't have anymore time to waste" Gun said.

The kid, Jake Kim, handed over a bag of money.  It looked light from how Gun slung it over his shoulder, but (Name) knew there had to be a lot inside.

Gun didn't waste anymore time and started to walk away. As (Name) moves to follow she felt a hand on her shoulder. Looking back it was Jake Kim. The kid had a serious look on his face as he whispered.

"You're making this a lot harder. I don't know why Gun's got a stick up his ass showing off for you, but I'll warn you now not to get in my way".
