This morning, early, at school, I was doing homework on the floor in the hallway while listening to music. One song to come up was Roaring 20s, by Panic! at the Disco. (It's great; I love it.)
Humming along, there's a point in the song mentioning Lord of the Flies, which I didn't know that beforehand. I was like, 'Wow! I had no idea it mentioned this book!' So, walking to breakfast with my sister, I brought up that part of the song.
When I mentioned it, she asked for a refresher on what the book was about, because she hasn't actually read it. (I told her about it when it was my English assignment last year.) I started telling her about the kids stranded on an island and whatnot, and she said something along the lines of, "Oh, and the kids eat each other, right?" To which I responded, "No, they don't eat each other. They just eat pigs."
And you know what she said?
"Oh nuuu, poor Yuri."
As in Yuri! on Ice.
