Chapter 12

Dakota POV

I woke up because Angel was whimpering. As I got up and did everything with him but I was still tired.

Ugh my head was throbbing. My phone was ringing and I looked at the ID caller. I saw Jason.

I answered and he told me about work so I had the rest of the day off. I quickly changed into my workout clothes.

I gave Angel food and water. I got to the motorcycle and just drove to the gym.

As I was working out some people were staring at me but I didn't care I ignored them. I did push ups, treadmill, and weights.

I had my headphone on and listening to Havana by Camila Cabello.

As I was done and checked by phone. Melisa texted me and I texted her back she wanted to hangout for a bit.

I stopped working out and headed home. As I got their but I took a shower really quick.

I did everything with Angel and changed quickly. Angel was barking at me and I said "I can't bud I have to get going".

I left the apartment and texted Melisa again. She wanted to go to Jack in the box (Not sponsored). As we got the food and she said "So are you doing okay". I said "Yeah the voices stopped but I'm still kinda hung up on her".

She said "Wait we should go to a club but are you working today". I said "Yeah that sounds a fantastic idea but I'm not working today".

She said "I know a good club and I'll text you the address or mine so we could go together". I nodded at her.

We said our goodbyes and I headed home. I don't know why the voices stopped but I didn't care. I saw my phone going on.

I saw it and Morgan was texting me.
👑❤️😁: Hey I was wondering if you wanted to hang with me at Starbucks. Sorry if it sounds needy.
D: Sure I'll go with you but you don't sound needy Queen.
👑❤️😁: Did you called me Queen 😳.
D:OMG I'm sorry.
👑❤️😁:It's okay I like it. 😘😏

Did she send me a kissy face. I didn't think of it much so I texted her back.

D: I'm glad you like your nickname for you.

I fixed myself a little bit. But Angel stared at me and I looked at him. I played with him but I did had to leave.

-20 minuets-

I headed to Shane's house and I had my car keys in my pocket. I knocked on the door but Shane opened the door.

He said "Hey I know that Morgan told you to go to Starbucks with her but it's a date".

He had Andrew filming and I was blushing like a madman and smiling. I said "Um I didn't know".

He let me in and told me to sit down. I was waiting for her but Ryland came downstairs and he greeted me and I greeted him back.

He said "Were you surprised". I said "Yeah I thought we were getting Starbucks". He said "Me and Shane thought of the idea". I said "So is this really a date or something".

I frowned of how they can play me. Ryland said "Yeah of course like a date but maybe a good place".

He got up and was doing something. I said "So where is she". He said "Oh she's upstairs with Shane".

Shane came downstairs and said "Alright we have the lovely Morgan Adams". She was wearing a beautiful red dress.

I didn't know I was staring but I said "You look stunning Morgan". She said "Why thank you. You look beautiful". I told her my thank you.

Shane was talking to the camera and said "As you didn't know Dakota this is date that we put out".

Shane was wearing a waiters outfit and Ryland as well.

-20 minuets later-

It went great but we were on the couch and Shane had a piece of paper and he said "So the question is hidden talents".

I know Melisa was texting me but I texted her back that I couldn't go even though I did text her at the restroom.

He was looking at me and I said "Singing". They had a surprise face but Morgan said "Aw please sing something for us". I said "I don't know it's been awhile".

She gave me the puppy look face and I singed. All of me by John Legend.

They were amazed by the singing that I did.

-10 minuets later-

We had fun and I was extremely happy and giddy with excitement. But I kept my cool. As I said my goodbyes to them and I know that we can have more dates that she said as well and I agreed.

I headed to my car and drove to my house but Melisa texted me.

FreckleGurl: Hey I know your probably busy but can you come to my house so we can talk.
D:Sure

That was really weird and she texted me her address. I wonder what she wants to talk about. Did I do something wrong.

-20 minuets later-

As I headed to her house and I knocked on the door and she opened it.

She looked worried and it looks like she was crying. Her eyes were red puffy. She let me in and I said "What's wrong".

She said "My-". Her breathing was heavy but I hugged her and she said "My dad was in a car accident and he didn't make it".

She was crying and I still hugged her and I said "I'm sorry of your loss". She said "I have to go to Ohio for the funeral".

I said "Do you want me to come with you". She said "Yeah but please stay by my side for now". I nodded at her and I said "I will don't worry we can do anything you want to do".

She had a little smile and said "Thank you Dakota how did I deserve you".

We watched a movie and I stayed with her. I picked her up and put her in bed and covered her in blanket.

I sat down at the couch and was wondering about a lot of things but mostly if Morgan, and Melisa deserved me. I laid down and slept.
