Chapter Twenty

Dakota POV

I woke up with a major headache. Fuck I need aspirin. As I got up and changed. As I took my pants off from yesterday I felt something on the pockets and took it out but I saw number.

I'll text this person later right now I don't have the energy. I set the napkin in the countertop in the kitchen.

I made my way to the restroom and headed to the toilet and threw up. I saw my dog looking at me with judgement in his eyes.

As I completely felt fine and I looked at Angel. I grabbed the aspirin from mirror wall. I left the restroom with Angel following me.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle from the refrigerator and chugged the pill down with the water.

I felt really weird for some reason and I don't know why. I gave him food and water and headed out to the car. I looked at my phone and got a missed call from Kendall.

I put my phone on vibrate and charged it. As I was driving but their was traffic and I couldn't get out of it. I called my boss and he said it was fine to be late and could get a day off.

I called Morgan since I miss her a lot. But I got a voicemail.

D/ Hey Morgan just wanted to call since you know I miss you and all but if you here in LA then text me or call me if your not busy. Love you sweetheart.

I ended the call and basically called Melisa.

D/ Hey their Melisa.
M/ Hey wass up.
D/ So wyd.
M/ Nothing just watching Netflix.
D/ Want to hang with me since my boss told me I can have a day off.
M/ Sure where to.
D/ Starbucks oh also send me your address.
M/ Sure just let change really quick also yeah.

I ended the call from her and waited for traffic to be over.

—30 minuets later—

As the traffic ended and I finally drove to her house since she texted me her address. As I got to her and texted that I was outside.

She came out and she look pretty. She came inside and I said "Hey girl you look pretty". She said "Thanks girl but your pretty also".

I said "Thanks but I felt like shit". She looked at me confused. I said "Well I know I drank last night but I don't remember anything except I found a napkin with a number on it".

She said "What did you do with the napkin did you threw it away". I said "Nope but I'm going to find out what I did or if I did something stupid".

As I was driving to Starbucks and we got their. I held the door for her and we got in and ordered the drink. We sat down and talked.

I said "But I'll text that person later because I still feel like shit". She said "So have you called or texted Morgan". I said "I called her but it was a voicemail but I told her if she's back in LA than text me or call me".

She said "What about Kendall have you figured it out". I said "Nope mostly because I'm avoiding her but she called me but I didn't call her back".

She said "Man that's a lot of drama but I hope you get past it". I said "Yeah me too but what about you". She said "What do you mean". I said "Do you have any drama that I should know about".

She said "Nope I don't but I'm glad your here with me". I smiled at her and she smiled back.

Melisa POV

I don't know why I lied but I did. I just hope I can figure out to avoid the conversation about me. But I'm glad she's back in my life.

Dakota POV

We we're just talking about the good old days but I heard the door opened and heard my name.

I looked back and saw Morgan with Ryland. I got up and hugged her. She said "Hey I missed you but I'm sorry if we haven't hung out I was just busy with videos and apartment".

I said "It's fine Morgan and hey Ryland". He waved back and I said "Anyways this is my bestie Melisa from college".

She said "Hi guys anyways I think I should go since my boss texted me". Melisa got up and left. I sat their confused I'll text her later.

I said "So what are you guys doing later". She said "Nothing making a video want to come with us". I said "Heck yeah".

—Time skip video—

We mostly just hung out and talked about our days. Ryland being such an adorable with Shane and I think it was cute.

Andrew said "So how's work". I don't want to say that a women has feelings for me. I said "Meh it's okay I don't really get to excited when their are models but if I see my friends then it's fun".

He said "Do you do a lot of models". I said "It just depends the day on how many you get". He also said "What about today". I said "I didn't really go to work I had a day off and I went to spend it with my bestie".

Morgan said "So tell me about your bestie Marisa". I said "Well babe it's Melisa and their isn't a lot things I can tell you because she just my bestie and that's all she's going to be".

There was this tension and I said "So Ryland how long do you edit". He said "Sometimes not that long but it just depends the video".

Shane said "Do you think you can be in Ryland's video". I said "Yeah if Ryland is okay with it". Ryland said "Yeah I'm okay with it but anyways I'm going to get something from kitchen Andrew and Shane come with me".

They got up and left. It was kinda awkward but I said "I wonder what their going to get". She said "Yeah". I said "Babe are you mad at me".

She said "No I'm not I just got jealous when your with her". I said "Babe I meant every word she just my bestie and your my girlfriend because I only love you".

I got up and sat next to and I softly grabbed her chin and looked at her. I said "Babe your the reason I can love again, your the reason I'm never alone, and your the reason that you save me from my depression".

She looked at me and I smiled at her. She smiled back and I leaned in and kissed her. She kissed back until I heard "Okay guys I got it".

We pulled apart and looked at the guys. I looked away and blushed.

Time skip

I went home to my doggy and took him to the restroom and gave him food and water and plopped on my bed.
