That's how it ended
Care I poured was love
And the bottle got filled
With a freaking thrill
Joy and grief pill by pill
We were careful not to spill
Since it was warm to dwell
And we made a happy quill
All about that time spent well
Gave names that stay still
Weird but smiles would fill
Everytime we uttered funny spell
Plant, frog and what else we will?
Oh, we shared a common name
We were pots made without skill
Pot? Pot?
We checked each other like hell
And then a day fell
Just to make us ill
Then tears were all that swell
I begged holding your gown with a tight pull
You asked me to kill?
Aren't you ?
I left the hold with a trembling shrill
I wanted to stitch back your thoughts
So did i nagged you with words
That would make you feel well
Suddenly, you took the bottle
That got filled and read it's name
You were afraid
Of what if it read as “ love “?
You screamed.
For we both were cursed to love,
In separate ways
I lifted the same bottle
And this time it read “ Friends”
Whom to blame ?
A wall you built , safe and far away
From all the stories I would tell.
Stay safe and bring me cake
For I would be waiting with a board
That read “ Close friends”
With a tattoo of pot , pot and your fav froggy.
