I stand
And watch the tree move
The clouds are shattered
A foggy purple one
Dragging it's scrambled clan
A foggy blue one
Gathering it's little pop corns
A giant gray one
Dispersing and flocking back
One of those long daylight days
A late evening sky
I stand still
And notice
The tender motions of the tree
Which is almost invisible
Even the tiny stroke
Seems breathtaking
Yet so simple
As the life itself is,
I wait for the darkness
To remember what it's like
When the evening stumbles to night
To catch the exact moment of magic
I stand still
The trees tremble,
Sodium lamps come to life
And the leaves begin to glisten
I look above at the sky
And it's mildly dark all of a sudden
I turn and look behind
Half of the other sky is already black
Like two different worlds
I exactly notice the path
The light passes to darkness
The wind turns too cold
I pull up my hoods and shiver
My heart jumps realising
The view I'm stuck in,
A happy canvas painting
Colors that reflect life
A peace in all it's motions
I stand still
And watch the trees move
It's night and a smile fills my face.
