Our Apologies

Erik's POV
I sit in the same spot in the music room wanting to die. How could she think that I would have an affair... with Meg?! My mind continues to ramble around I hear Natalie making dinner. I try to get my mind off of the matter and play but all that comes out of the beautiful instrument is dreadful sounds. I hear the door creak letting little light escape through in the dark room.

Automatically I scream "Get the fuck out Meg?! You've done enough?! You happy?! Me and Christine I'm sure are done?! Now she hates me?! Won't even talk to me?!" I fight the tears "just get out?! Get out of my house?!" The shadow comes closer to me I feel hands on my shoulders then feels those familiar beautiful warm moist lips on my cheek.

My angel's voice softly whispers "thank you for staying faithful to me." I turn around facing her, her beautiful eyes showing sadness I pull her close kissing her passionately. She starts crying as she hugs me "I'm so sorry Erik! I don't know why I'd think you'd do that to me! I mean I didn't... it's just I came in and saw her arms all wrapped around you as she kissed all over you and... then..." I look at her leaning on my piano I try to say "Chr--" but she continues so I listen as she continues to cry and ramble it all out. "Then you didn't look up until I started crying I thought you would've at least looked... then you had your arms all her so... I.. i..."

I cut her off by kissing her deeply she is shocked at first but kisses back wrapping her arms around my neck I smile softly as she tries to take over. I pull away leaving her catching her breath "Christine... I'm sorry I should've done something more but I didn't I wasn't a good fiancé either. But the fact is, I love you! Not anyone else! You! You are the only love of my life it will always be like that!" She nods "ok." She squeaks I dog around in my pocket and smiles as I take her hand taking out the ring and smiles saying.

"Christine with this ring, I promise to love and cherish you to the day I die. I promise I'll love you unconditionally no matter what happens, i promise I won't ever commit adultery. I promise that no matter what happens good or bad I'll stick by your side I'll support you, I'll try to be the man you've always wanted. I love you very much nothing will change my mind, nothing will make me hate you" she looks up "not even if I lose one of our kids when we have one if we have one?"

"Not even that darling." I whisper as I place the ring on her hand she smiles and kisses me "I love you Erik!" I chuckle and kisses back "I love you Christine please remember nothing will replace my love for you." She nods softly looking deeply in my eyes "I know."

Christine's POV
I listen to him as he tells me what he promises I want to cry all over again for thinking he'd do that but somehow him telling me this it comforts me for him to say it. I smile as I continue to kiss him deeper I slightly moan as he takes control. I smile happily and melts knowing I'm his world as he's mine.
