Moving Day

Christine's POV

Well last night was weird... But I mean can you blame me? In the beginning he was going to leave no he might not have... I don't know it's just it scared me so I asked.

But today is the day we move and leave the past behind. Finally I can't wait I'm so excited I think Erik is too he woke up sort of happy I can tell he felt horrible last night he didn't mean to.

"Morning angel" I say as he comes into the kitchen "good morning mon ange! Are you ready for today?" His voice laced with excitement "of course I do love today is the day we move!" He laughs and picks me up kissing my temple "oh angel it's going to be marvelous!"

I smile and agrees "as long as I'm with you anything is marvelous! Angel im so sorry about last night. It just shocked me so much and I... I don't know love, please you know I didn't mean to snap at you just my shock made me angry and I---"

He cut me off "darling stop it was my fault I shouldn't have grabbed you like that it shocked me when you asked that, that I lashed out please forgive me," he asks begging I nod and kisses him softly "of course my darling now come we have quite a few things to pack" I smile he comes over packing his stuff the portraits, clothes, his music, the instruments he can carry and much much more.

While I pack my clothes and my possessions I took also a few items Erik had bought such as make up, jewelry, extra clothes, shoes and so on. While going through the possessions I ran across a picture of my father and mother when I looked at it tears formed in my eyes. Oh father why did you have to go so soon?

I heard Erik say "you ok love? The carriages are ready when you are darling." I look up and he opened his arms at the sight of my tear stained face. "Darling what's wrong do you not want to leave?" I ran I to his arms burying my face in his chest.

"No angel just memories flood back so quickly and before you know it the happiness turns into sadness" he hugs me and whispers "I'm so sorry darling" I cry harder as he strokes my hair. Finally I stop and goes and packs the rest then loads them in the carriage.

Erik's POV

We get in the carriage and I tell the driver to the ship and we go Christine passes out on the way. I watch her sleep then gets my own thoughts processed. It takes an hour to get to the ship finally we get there I wake up Christine and we go to the boat docking the man asks for tickets and I give them to him he let's is on instantly.

We get on the boat and Christine lies on the bed looking out the window it's quite beautiful out there. I watch as she curls up in the bed then pats on the other side for me to come lay with her. I oblige gleefully and lays down when I do she carefully starts taking my mask off.

"There's my handsome Prince Charming!" She giggles I scoff "no I'm no Prince Charming darling" she smirks as she pulls me close and says "you may not be a Prince Charming in your eyes but to me you are worth and are so much more than a stupid prince my love, you are one of a kind so believe it you are my phantom my lover, my angel, and well soon to be my husband, and maybe even a father."

I smile at her words then she falls asleep as do I, I wake up later and gets up going to the mirror smoothing back my hair looking for my mask and finds it in Christine's hands I go over and pulls it away but she keeps a firm grip on it. Angel let go!
