CHAPTER FOUR

KATE'S POV:

*two weeks later*

Dan left for his tour and I was at home, I got a job at the corner store with the help of Dan he was so nice to me and I loved being here with him. Dan and I became really good friends and I needed that at the moment. I was on my way to work when I heard the doorbell go off it was a delivery guy. He had a package for me and I signed for it, I thanked the guy and he left. I walked back inside of the flat closing the door and locking it.

I opened the package, I saw a note from Dan

"hey, Kate I know you lost your last phone to some low life. I brought you another one so I can call you and well be your creepy stalker you call me,  ;)
Please take it and use it as I will like to know your ok, so I'll call you later tonight hopefully it has charge.
Miss you Dan X"

I smiled and laughed because Dan has been a really good guy to me and has helped me so much, I saw it was a Samsung and it had a Bastille case. In the last two weeks I had been listening to them on Dan's old phone and well it was good but I needed a new one. I put the phone on charged and got ready for my first day of work. I was only to work the cash register as my arm still hadn't healed yet.

I was just getting out of the shower when my phone rang, I got confused because I don't know who has this phone number. I answered it and it was Dan, "he was calling to tell me to have a good first day and he will call me later."

I walked to the corner shop and saw one of the Sarah. She had hired me after Dan gave her daughter an autograph and tickets to their next concert. She was so nice and only put me in from 4-8 and said she will drive me home so I can be safe. I thanked her and got on with my shift. It was a slow run for the first few hours but it picked up before closing time. I guess people needed bread and milk for tomorrow. After we locked up, Sarah took me home, she said "I'll be working again in two days and she will do the same." I thanked her again and I headed inside.

I took my shoes off and sat down on the sofa, I was tired and my arm hurt. It was hard to work and get ready when I was still injured.

I went to make a tea when Dan skyped me, I got weird because I didn't know the Skype tone. I answered and saw Kyle, will and woody. They were all drunk but Dan remained sober. He said he was checking up on me and he missed me. I giggled like a school girl because I never felt that way about anyone in a few years.

I saw how sweet he was and yeah I may have known him for a few weeks but I felt something so strong that it made me want to be with him. Dan was so kind and supportive of me.

"how's my patient doing?"

"good, doctor Smith I am recovering well and my wrist hurts but I'll be ok."

"I wanted to tell you we are coming home on Saturday and I hope I can take you out to dinner to congratulate you on your new job"

"I will love that and thank you so much Dan, I can't wait until you are home, I miss your snoring from the room"

"I don't snore. But I miss you too and I can't wait until I give you another surprise"

"oh Dan, you have done too much for me, please no more... I can't repay you enough"

"it's fine Kate.. I wanted to and the guys want to meet you as well so I'll see you on Saturday night"

"see you then, night Smith"

"night katy"

I ended the phone call and went to my room, I didn't want to sleep alone...

so I headed to Dan's room and fell asleep in his bed his sent made me happy and I couldn't help but feel like Dan was the one but I don't think he felt that way about me...
