I can't open my eyes, the fear you'll never return has me trembling. But I'll just smile and wave you off.
Only to hope you'll come back into my arms again.
Too many goodbyes have a sad ending. Too many goodbyes have left me trembling. Too many goodbyes from the people I trusted.. Too many goodbyes from people who haven't lasted.
See you soon. Is all I need to hear. I'll come back. With a smile on your face. And I'll be here waiting for your return. Smiling and thinking about you.
