Jungkook's p.o.v

The guys have just left the house and I'm stuck watching over y/n's comatose Grandma and a sick Taehyung.

And by watching I mean sitting three feet away from the television, playing on my Xbox One.

My eyes dart around the large flat screen, looking for any unsuspecting enemies on the battle field. Round after round and victory after victory, minutes begin to tick on to hours.

The dull ache in my back intensified, making me pause the game and stand up. My arms extended above my head and a silent groan left my mouth as I stretched.

Just as I was about to loosen up a creak sounded from the down the hallway, facing directly in front in me.

"You're not supposed to be up Taehyung." I called out to Taehyung's mind but there was no response, he was most likely in too much pain to speak at the moment.

My eyes roamed the darkness that consumed the hallway but I couldn't catch a single fraction of movement. The only thing indicating Taehyung presence was an overwhelming feeling of frostbite nipping at my ears and fingertips.

I was freezing but my body had grown adjust to the sensation.

Walking over to the kitchen I made my way over to the fridge, desperate to find something to satisfy my grumbling stomach.

I began rummaging through the cold storage device but to my disappointment the only thing that didn't require cooking was a couple of pudding packs. I guess it was good enough.

Not even bothering to get a spoon I peel off the seal and try to pour the cold pudding into my mouth but a chunk falls out and paints my mouth in a chocolate coating.

As I wiped at my mouth in frustration I noticed a shadow quickly dart down the hallway where Taehyung was in my peripheral vision.

Frowning, I set the pudding cup down and padded my way to the hallway. Maybe if I had just payed a little more attention to the living room before walking down the hallway, I would've noticed the sofa lying dormant without a sleeping body.

Thinking Taehyung was up and trying to play some sort of prank on me, I march over to his bedroom. My bare feet grew uncomfortably cold the closer I had gotten to him. I turn the door knob, forcing the door to swing open.

The crease in my eyebrows lighten up just a fraction as I spot Taehyung's bed ridden form. He laid huddled in cocoon of blankets, facing in my direction. Hums of agony escaped his puffed out lips.

I stalked closer, wincing as he groaned and twitched. A sheer layer of perspiration coated his face as he slept. His sweaty body contrasted greatly with the ice covering the window and the sight of my breath escaping past my lips with every exhale.
