In Indigo's mind, Matt Hicks could drop dead and she wouldn't care. He practically ruined her high school days. The times that are supposed to be "memorable" were forever tainted with his cruelty.
She was living her best life, she had a career, caring friends, and an amazing boyfriend. So why pop up out of nowhere? Was he jealous of her career? Did he finally realize he fucked up? Indigo was in desperate need of answers, but she couldn't bother talking to an asshole like him.
Jenny was fuming about the whole situation. She was mad, but not as mad as Indigo was. She was so close to messaging him a very long and harsh paragraph, but Indigo insisted that it wasn't worth it, yet.
"Oh my god, I hate my life." Indigo grunted, clutching onto her pillow.
"Say that to your success." Jenny commented, sitting down next to her.
She sighed. "I just don't get it! Matt Hicks is probably at some Ivy League school that his doting daddy paid for. Why bother?"
She was right, why did he take the time to bother her after all this time? They had graduated high school, most people get over that bullshit by now. Indigo thought she was over it, but she had been reminded that she truly wasn't.
"Well, I think he realized how famous you are now." Jenny said. "But wait until the world finds out who you're dating!"
Tom and Indigo had yet to go public still, they thought about revealing their love at the Spider-Man premiere, but the date is just too far away. "Maybe the world should find out right now."
"What?"
