Going back to work wasn't even the tip of the iceberg.

Mr Rosario's attitude towards me was.

And it bothered me because,

Because,

I guess I was scared.

I didn't want to get used to someone caring for me.

Mr Rosario's care for me irked me.

For instance, all through the last two months, he kept getting me lunch no matter how much I'd refused it

"Miss Fortz I know you barely eat and so I decided to get you food" was always his monotonous reply.

No matter how much I'd argued with him about it. He kept on repeating those words like he was some kind of robot.

Not only that, he would always take me home from work, claiming that I close too late and that he knew I was tired.

But not today, due to the fact that i caught a flu I couldn't turn up so I had to call Layla to tell her that I wouldn't be showing up.

"How are you feeling now?" Sam walks into my room with a plate of chicken soup.

"Just peachy" I reply and she rolls her eyes

"sarcastic bitch" she replies and I laugh and wheeze at the same time.

"Feed me please"

"Hell no, I-" The doorbell rings

"I'll go see who that is" she walks out with a frown.

Should be Louis

I try to sit up so I can eat my chicken soup.

But fail miserably

A knock stops me from trying

"Louis you can come in without my permission you know" I roll my eyes while struggling to sit up

"Hey lu, can you come help me please" I ask but no reply

"Lu?"

No reply

"Louis if-" I lift my head and behold the person in my room is definitely not Louis but Levi

"Mr Rosario?" I pull my cover up a bit

"Levi" He says and I nod

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you" he walks up to me

"Can I sit?" he asks

"Uh yeah" I make space for him

"I told Layla to get you food but she said you called in sick so I decided to come see you" he explains taking the bowl of chicken soup in his hands

He moves the spoon to my mouth and I turn my face away

"Eat."

"No"

"Eat"

"No!"

"Cassie eat or so help me-"

"No, I'm tired of you trying to always take care of me."

"I'm a grown ass woman and I can take care of myself" I pout

Still refusing to eat

He stands to take off his shoes and his jacket

"W-what are you doing??" I ask as he approaches me. He gets into my bed and puts me on his lap.

"Levi leave me alone" I struggle to get out of his grip

He takes the bowl again and tries to feed me. Not getting any reply he raises his eyebrow and I shake my head, then his face softens

"Please" he says in a voice that's to die for and I felt my insides warm up

"Just because you said please" I mutter and open my mouth and he feeds me

I eat in silence until I grow tired and fall asleep in Levi's arms.

It wasn't until noon that I woke up. I looked around, no sight of Levi and I frown.

I quickly use the bathroom before heading out.

Upon entering the living room I don't see anyone so I head to the kitchen with hope of finding Sam.

But instead I got faced with a very sexy Levi cooking

"Hey" I say as I walk in.

"Did you sleep well"

"Uh yeah, I feel a bit better" I reply, taking my sit

"Where's Sam?" I ask and he looks at me confused

"You mean the lady I met here?" He asks and I nod

"Oh, she left the moment I came in" He informs me walking up to me with a plate of food and I scrunch my brows

"What's this?"

"panzanella mio bella principessa" he says with a smirk and I roll my eyes

(mio Bella principessa -my beautiful princess)

"English please"

"Panzanella. It's an Italian food" he says

"How'd you get the ingredients for it, I haven't gone grocery shopping yet so... " I trail off

"Simple, I called my butler to get me the ingredients for it. And I also stocked your fridge." he says

"You did?" I ask going wide-eyed and he nods

"Uh.. Thanks.. Thank you" I scratch my arm awkwardly

"Eat up eat up so we can see a movie" he whispers in my ear. And I almost choke

"Oh no! Why did he have to die" I sniffle

"It's just a movie Fortz" Levi says reassuringly

"But I liked him. Why do the good guys always die?" I ask

"You know most times in life we don't always get what we want. We have to make sacrifices to get certain things." He says showing no emotion

I look at him and the look on his face shows that he isn't talking about the movie anymore.

"Hey I have to leave now" he says getting up to wear his suit jacket.

"So soon?" I blurt out

"ah-hem" I clear my throat

"Sure, I'll see you out" I say standing up to wear my flip-flops

"Get well soon bella" He smirks at me
