"What do you mean you're going on a date with Levi." Sam says smirking at me.

"Well he didn't exactly give me a choice." I shrugged

"I don't know what to wearrr" I rummage my wardrobe

"Calm down" Sam pushes me to the side and picks a beautiful body con dress and cute heels and a clutch.

"How did I not know I had this dress?"

"Well my dear, you keep buying clothes and then you tend to forget about some of them." She walks past me.

"Go have your bath so we can do your makeup"

"Yes yes mummy" I playfully catwalk into the bathroom.

After getting dolled up and taking series of pictures Levi finally came

"See you later chica" Sam hollers at me

"Sure thing b"

"Better get vitamin D" she yells and I just shake my head embarrassed that my best friend has no filter

"Hey" Levi says handing me a rose

"You look stunning" he kisses my hand and I blush.

"You look nice too" I reply

"Just nice?" He asks pretending to be upset

"Okay well you look handsome"

"So you think I'm sexy?" He smirks and I look at him in disbelief.

"Don't put words in my mouth silly" I pinch his shoulder and walk to the car

He just laughs sweetly and opens the door for me

"why are you staring" I blush

"well why not? You're beautiful." she says and I smirk and look away and he chuckles

"Am I making the queen shy?" he teases and I laugh

"you wish"

The waiter brings our food and I dig in.

Moments after we finish eating in silence. Comfortable silence though. Levi asks if I'm okay and I nod.

"Alright" he places more than enough notes on the table and I just shake my head in awe

We walk to the car. And he opens the door for me

"Thank you"

"Anything for you" he gets into the driver's side and we begin our journey

"so, queen where do you want to go now?" he asks

"uhm I dunno." I think for a second

"oh yeah, uhm I think somewhere quiet and peaceful would be nice. Not too quiet though. You know what I mean right?" I say and he smiles

"got it"

We arive at this beautiful park. It must be new cause I've not heard anyone speak of it

"This park must be new right?" I look at Levi

"well, not exactly. It's a private park. Like not just anyone can come here, hence the reason for the tight security" he gestures towards the guards at the back

And I nod

Yup

Those guys were scary af

I look around in awe. I know the twins would love this. Even mum.

Like one time, we all went to the park. Heck we had a lot to eat. We were all happy. Dad just got a new job. And mum got a promotion. The twins were fooling around and somehow made a dog mad. I still remember how scared they were and mum shouting at them to be careful

"Hey" Levi comes in front of me and cups my face

"what's wrong. You zoned out" he looks at me with pure concern and I couldn't help but smile

"nahh it's nothing" I reply looking away

"look at me" he said sofly

"Cassie you can tell me anything. I won't judge you. I won't even tell anyone" he padlocks his mouth and throws the imaginary key away and I laugh

"Fine fine. You might want to sit though. It's a long story" I say and leads us to the sitting area not so far away.

"so" he looks at me

"soooo" I say back and he gives me a 'really' look and I laugh

"okay okay I'll talk"

"well, my family, a family of five, live in Huston Texas. Dad was a production engineer and mum an accountant. It all started when dad lost his job. The company had some difficulties and they laid off some workers. Dad was angry. He started drinking. Until mum got a job for him at a construction company. Although it didn't pay much but it settled some bills. Dad wasn't okay with the job though. He'll always complain about the fact that he didn't like the way the company operated. He started drinking more, cheating on mum, abusing mum and sometimes me and the twins. I always hated it when he would lose his temper like that. One day he was beating mum I just couldn't take it so I shouted at him. I told him off. And he slapped me so hard, called me all sorts of names and put my head in the toilet until I passed out. When I woke up I found out that I was in the hospital. Mum by my side and the twins outside. I had to tell her that I couldn't take it anymore. She cried, she said she was sorry I went through that, I told her to  relocate with the twins and I but she said she couldn't and that she didn't have anyone or anywhere to go to. Her family members abandoned her because she got married to dad, a white man. When I was discharged from the hospital, it got worse, dad started bringing his whores to the house and when mum complains he would bear her up so badly and threaten to kill her."

"so I ran, I know it was wrong to run away. But I had to. I wanted to make enough money to get my mum and sisters out of that hell hole. So I ran."

I didn't realize I was crying until I felt Levi's thumb wiping my tears away.

Call me crazy but I cried. I placed my head on Levi's shoulder and cried so hard. And I was glad that he let me.

"I'm here now" I hear him mutter
