I woke up to the sound of an air horn in my ear, making me jump all the way into my ceiling. My breathing is quick until I hear Clint laughing historically. "What the heck?!" I ask frustrated, jumping down just in time for wade to come running in hearing the loud noise from next door. "What was that?" He asks, which makes Clint laugh even harder. "Friday, please tell me you got that on video!" Clint asks while holding his stomach. "It's not funny!" I say, mad at being woken up by an air horn. "Yes mr. barton." Friday responds. "What?! No Friday delete that footage!" I say. "I'm sorry sir but mr Barton strictly told me not to." Friday apologizes. I groan in frustration. "Fine." I give up, going to my closet for clothes. I hate when my parents go on mission and leave Clint, of all people, to take care of me. I can take of of myself just fine thank you very much.
"What in the world?" Wade asks from the door. "Clint woke me up with an air horn." I explain. He gives an 'ooh' expression and goes back to his room. I'm not gonna mention that he was only in boxers with hearts on them.
"So your dads won't be back for about a week, so your stuck with me and Wilson till then." Clint explains while I search for a long sleeve shirt. I can't seem to find any regular long sleeve shirts, so I just wear a black knitted sweater with nothing underneath. I slip into some blue boot cut jeans that fit me well and walk out the door with Clint. I head to the kitchen to get something to eat. I walk to the fridge and go to open the door. Before I can open the door my spidey sense goes of and I back away. Once it goes away my suspicions grow. I get near the fridge again and my spidey sense gets stronger. I walk back again and it's gone.
"Hey Clint," I start, turning towards him. He looks at me curiously. "Yeah?" He asks, seeing my somewhat confused and worried face. "there is something wrong with the fridge." I say. He makes a face of pure confusion and heads over to me. "What do you mean?" "There is something dangerous in the fridge. My spidey sense goes off every time I get near it." I whisper the last part as I spot wade walk around the corner. "Really? Okay well back away from it." He say, leading me and him away from it and toward the couch. He gets out his foldable bow and takes out an arrow with a rope attached to it. Wade looks at us from the door way confused. "What are you doing?" He asks. I beckon him over behind the couch. "There is something wrong with the fridge." I explain. Clint raises his bow and shoots the arrow onto the fridge Handel. He pulls on the rope and my spidey sense goes off. "Get down!" I say, grabbing Clint and wade and ducking them behind the couch fully, just in time for the fridge to completely explode and shatter the contents of the kitchen everywhere.

"Yeah kid, your getting extra protection. No privacy all until we for sure know you're safe from harm." Dad says through the phone. "What? What do you mean no privacy?" I ask. "What I mean is Wilson's gonna be keeping an even closer eye on you. You leave no where without him. And he's never leaving you side. Not even in sleep." Pops says strictly. "What?! No way! There is no way I'm sleeping in the same room as him." I protest. "Yes way. There is no argument peter. What if hydra came into your room while you where sleeping? What if they kidnapped you and Wilson couldn't protect you. We can't take that chance." Dad responds. I sigh in defeat. I'm not gonna win the argument.
I mean yeah, having wade in my room for protection is the most logical action to do. It's just that I might freak out while he's in there. I have like a lot of nightmares, and I kinda don't want wade to know about it. He'll I don't even What dad and pops to know. The only reason they do is cause the orphanage told them and the first day I slept in avengers tower I had a nightmare about Ben.
"Fine." I say. We say our goodbyes and and hang up my phone, going back to the living room to help the workers clean up the mess of the explosion.

Wades POV
After the clean up of the floor, peter tells me how I have to stay in his room from now on. He then informs me that he needs to get to school. I suggest he just not go today since he's already like an hour late, but he insisted. I sigh and walk with him to school.
——
Once again school was uneventful. The only difference from yesterday was that we were late and I couldn't stop looking at his ass. What? If you saw him in what he's wearing you would to. His black sweater turtle neck made his skin pop more and the tight bootcut jeans perfectly wrapped around his thighs. The tight Long sleeves wrapped around his arms where his muscles looked perfectly toned but skinny at the same time. Not to mention his hair was a little messy, sticking up in all the right places, falling perfectly on his forehead, making you notice his milk chocolate eyes that matched his light brown hair perfectly. Overall he looked like a perfect uke you'd see in a yaoi manga.
Peter once again took us to the sandwich shop, this time making small talk with the shop keeper. "How are you doing today Pete? It's near that time isn't it?" The shopkeeper asks while making the two sandwiches. Peters small smile drops at the mention of 'near that time'. "Uh, Yeah. I guess it is near. I wasn't paying attention to the days at all." Peter responds, laughing nervously. "Well tell her I said hi." The shop keeper says, handing peter the tow sandwiches. "Will do mr.delmore. (Idk if that's how you spell it)
We walk out of the sandwich shop and head back to avengers tower. "What was he talking about?" I ask out of curiosity. "Uh? Oh yeah. Well my aunt and uncle both died in December, and I usually go and visit them at Christmas. I completely forgot that it's November 30th." They said he was adopted. I didn't think he knew any relatives though. I thought he was always an orphan. "Steve and tony said they adopted you at 15 right? Can you tell me that story?" I ask curiously. "Sure. My uncle died from a gunshot right in front of me, so that sucked a LOT. Year later the same day me and my aunt were going to his grave but we got in a car crash. I survived and she didn't. Then I went to a not so good orphanage for a year and then dad found out about it and was like "PETER?!" And I was like "mr.Stark??" And then he adopted me. Which the permission of pops obviously." He explained. The way he explained it was slightly sarcastic, to cover up the obvious sadness and guilt in his voice.
I look at him after he says this, feeling slightly bad for him. "I'm sorry." Is all I could say at The moment. For some reason my heart aches a lot seeing him sad. It's silent until he changes
The subject. "So, anyway, here is your sandwich. Let's go home. Im in the mood to go to the gym for some reason. Maybe spar with Clint or nat." He says. I nod, slightly amused that he wants to work out. I just can't imagine someone so adorable working out In a gym filled with avengers proof equipment. We start walking toward the tower.
