Daughter Mikalson
Chapter 7: What Are You?
Part 2:
In the morning, I woke up earlier than usual, probably due to the amount of blood rushing through my system when I fell asleep and felt completely energized. Having too much energy to waste, I hopped in the shower and washed quickly.
After washing my hair and body multiple times, I jumped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body.
I pulled open the bathroom door and jumped and hid behind it when I noticed none other than Damon Salvatore leaning against the wall beside it.
If it weren't for the fact that I was naked, I would have slapped him. "What are you doing!" I yelled.
"Get out!" I yelled. He just smirked. "Please." He rolled his eyes. "If I see something I haven't seen before, ill throw a dollar at it." He smirked, doing his eye thing again. I scoffed at his rudeness.
"And technically this is my house." He smiled, messing with something in his hands. I glared forcefully at him. "Damon. I'm not kidding, get out." I hissed. He laughed, but remained in his spot, leaning against the wall.
I continued to glare at him as I pulled the towel higher on my chest. "What exactly are you doing in my room at 6 in the morning?" I snapped angrily at him. He shrugged, "No reason. Just checking in on the second unwanted houseguest." He smirked.
I rolled my eyes, "What the hell do you want, Damon?" I hissed at him. His ego was too much for me to handle, especially with this much energy in me. "Well, I want you to tell me what you are, but your not going to do that, are you...?" He smiled at me. I rolled my eyes.
"Seriously? That's it?" I hissed. "You came in my room at 6 o clock in the morning to what...? Be annoying?" I hissed. He laughed, "Ouch." He said sarcastically.
"Get out." I ordered again. He only chuckled. "Hope, isn't it?" He asked with raised eyebrows, taking a step closer. I glared at him and covered myself more with the door. "Get out." I repeated through my teeth.
"Well, Hope, why don't you tell me what you are or-" he began to threaten me. I laughed, cutting him off mid sentence. "Please, Damon. We've already established that I'm stronger than you. Do you need another demonstration?" I asked with a smirk of my own.
He glared at me, any hint of a smile gone. "Well, I see you two have had a lovely morning," Said Rebekah from the doorway, seeming a little annoyed. "You, get out." She ordered at Damon. He rolled his eyes, "Please, Rebekah, let the grown ups talk." He said, sarcastically.
"Elena's downstairs. I bet you she'd make a great before-breakfast snack." She said devilishly, her fangs sprouting. Damon glanced back at her, not answering, or moving. "Fine, have it your way." She smiled. "I know I will..." she said, putting her hand on the doorknob, but Damon beat her to it.
He walked away without another word and I sighed. I lifted my glare and pulled the door open again. I walked into the main room. "Why aren't you dressed?" she said, tilting her head disapprovingly.
I rolled my eyes. "Well I was bombarded." I said, crossing to the first dresser I saw, looking for underwear. I had no idea where my stuff was.
Eventually I found it, and walked back into the bathroom, a pair of clothes with me. "Oh, right. Well, we have to be at the restaurant in an hour, and she doesn't like it when people are late." She said to me.
I rolled my eyes and sighed. I put on a pair of matching black lace underwear and then my outfit for the day. Which consisted of a strapless, thigh length dress. The top was white and tight, the bottom was black and had big white roses on it's loose material.
I walked out of the bathroom, my hair wet and went to the closet. I picked up a pair of white heels with black straps. I slipped them on and then walked into the bathroom again.
I pulled my hairbrush out of a drawer. I pulled it through my wet, dark brown curls and then plugged in my blow drier. Quickly drying the curls, I then began to straighten it.
After it was dried, and straightened, I pulled it into a diagonal braid and it fell just to my chest. I quickly did my make up, having only 10 minutes to finish.
I did light foundation, eyeliner, mascara and blush.
After I was finally ready, I grabbed a small, shoulder strap black bag and walked downstairs, closing my door. "Where are we going for..." I began to say as I neared the last step, but trailed off when I saw Stefan sitting on the couch, cradling a crying Elena.
I rolled my eyes at their loveydovey-ness. Didn't they know there were other people in this house?
Stefan immediately stood up and took a protective stance over a clearly distressed, Elena. She had tears staining her tanned cheeks, sending her mascara in streaks. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail, and she wore a tank top and a pair of pajama pants.
I rolled my eyes, of course she spent the night. I was too worried about what Rebekah had told me to notice.
"Dont worry, I'm not going to touch your precious little doppelganger." I said, narrowing my eyes in disgust. "What do you want?" Asked the human, her sweet voice thick with tears.
I smiled, "Oh, sweetie, that's for you to figure out. I can't just give you all the answers, now can I?" I said, batting my eyelashes with an innocent smile. She glared at me, along with Stefan.
"Hope!" called Rebekah from the front door. "Stop antagonizing and let's go!" She called. I laughed and sent Elena a quick, dangerous wink before smirking and walking out, my heals clicking loudly on the floor as I left.
Rebekah smiled at me and waved a set of keys around in the air. I looked at her, confused. She looked back at a cherry red convertible.
I rolled my eyes, "How'd you get that?" I sighed. She laughed, "Compelled some guy earlier this morning to give it to me." She shrugged. I rolled my eyes again.
"Of course you did..." I mumbled with a roll of my eyes. I followed her to the convertible and climbed into the passenger seat. The leather was cool on my exposed thighs.
Rebekah was in the driver's seat quickly and she began driving, smiling down at the car as she did.
"Where are we going? And who are we meeting?" I asked with raised eyebrows.
She giggled. "We're going to the Grill." She smiled.
"And were meeting Katherine."
