Chapter 6: The Salvatore Brothers

Part 1:

After nearly draining a man by a bridge, healing and compelling him, I felt a little less angry.

What I really want to know is who that guy was, so I can find him and rip his heart out. He was a vampire, that much was easy enough to figure out.

Who was that human? She smelled delicious, irresistible even. Why was the vampire protecting her? I sighed and wiped my bloody lips on the sleeve of my sweater and continued the walk back to where Rebekah had us staying.

It was almost 1 am, and I was exhausted. I walked up to the doorstep and that same, sweet scent filled my nostrils. The Girl, Elena, the vampire called her.

I let out a quick, surprised breath. "What the hell is she doing here?!" I heard a voice. A man.

I narrowed my eyes as I peeked through the door. Sure enough the girl stood in the huge front room, along with another teenager, Rebekah, and...

The Vampire from earlier.

I snapped, my temper flared and the next thing I knew I had the vampire pushed against the wall, his arm pinned behind his back.

"Who the hell are you?" I hissed in his ear. "Who is this?" the teenage male asked. Rebekah smirked. "I believe you haven't met her yet, have you?" She smiled.

"This is Hope." She smiled, gesturing to me with her hand. The teenager took a protective stance in front of Elena. "Can you tell her to get the hell off of me?" snapped the man I was holding against the wall.

I smirked. "She doesn't tell me what to do. Now, tell me again, who. are. you?" I snapped.

"The Salvatores." Rebekah answered for him. "Stefan." she said, pointing to the teenager. "And Damon." she said pointing to the vampire I had.

I glared forcefully at him. "Who the hell is that?" I asked, nodding to the girl. Her brown eyes went wide and she bit her lip nervously.

"That's Elena Gilbert." she said. "Doppelganger of Katherine Pierce, aka: Katerina Petrova." she smiled. "Katherine? The Katherine you told me about?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

Rebekah nodded. "Now will you let go of me?" Growled the vampire in my grip, Damon. I rolled my eyes and reluctantly pulled away.

I was too busy examining the girl. I took a step closer to her. "Make another move and you'll regret it." Growled the teenager, Stefan, protectively.

I smirked. "Please." I rolled my eyes. I took another step, testing him. He took a step in front of her, blocking my path. "I wouldn't try that." Smiled Rebekah in a sing-song voice, sipping a glass of what looked like scotch.

Stefan glanced at her and then turned his warning eyes back to me. "Hope here, is a hybrid." she smiled.

Damon rolled his eyes, "I've killed plenty of hybrids in my days. I have no problem killing another." Said Damon, his murderous glare on me.

That is until Rebekah pushed him to floor and pinned him to the ground, holding his throat. "You touch one hair on her head and I will make it my personal mission to make sure you are in so much pain you beg for me to kill you." she warned through her teeth. That's my aunt for ya.

Damon coughed and struggled under her. Rebekah was an original. There was no way he was getting out of that.

Stefan glared at me as the girl looked nervously around. "How come we've never seen you before?" asked Stefan, his eyes curious.

I smirked. "I was born 18 years ago." I smiled. He narrowed his eyes. "As a human?" He questioned curiously.

I smirked. I liked this, toying with people was fun. Guess I did have some Rebekah in me after all.

He narrowed his eyes. Rebekah let Damon go, and they both stood up. Rebekah smirking, Damon with confused eyes. "How are you stronger than us if your only 18." Damon asked curiously.

I smirked and looked back at Rebekah. "Like im going to tell you two morons." I smiled. I took a step away from the girl, easing some of the heavy tension.

Both of the Salvatores, and the one Gilbert girl stared, all confused.

"What are you?" Asked Damon with a confused look. I smirked. "A hybrid." I shrugged. It wasn't a total lie, I was a hybrid. Just not of the ones they were used to.

"Of what?" Asked the girl, speaking for the first time. I laughed, "Well, you'll just have to figure that one out yourself." I smiled at her, standing by Rebekah.

"We'll be staying with you guys for a few days." Rebekah lied with a wide grin. "The hell you are-" began Damon. Rebekah held up s finger to silence him.

"Are you going to make us leave?" she smirked. Damon just stood there, seething a little.

Okay, I am so sorry, there was some sort of technical difficulties, and I wrote the other half of this chapter on this part, but it got messed up, along with the editing of the first part.

I fixed the editing part, but I still have to rewrite the second part! :( I am so sorry, and as apologies there will be no quotas for Chapter 8 :)

If you read the authors note, then you already know this. :)

Anyways, I am sorry for the inconvenience, and once again,

-Kisses, Becca ;)
