Chapter 10: The Party

"Go change." Rebekah ordered me. We had been back at the boarding house for a few hours now, and I was watching T.V. in the big living room when Rebekah made her way downstairs in a short dress with a dark gray top that hugged her chest, but a dark purple bottom part that flowed down to her thighs. Her blonde hair was pulled to the left side, a braid holding it in place at her neckline. She paired it with a dark purple bag and a purple necklace. She looked absolutely stunning, as usual.

I narrowed my eyes. "Why...?" I questioned her. She rolled her eyes. "Dont ask questions." She said. Stefan and Damon were here... somewhere... I had overheard Stefan talking to Elena earlier, telling her it would be a better idea to stay away from the Boarding House, due to Rebekah and I's unexpected appearance. I didn't care, the less I had to see of the doppelganger bitch the better.

I sighed and looked up at Rebekah. "Change to what?" I questioned. She shrugged. "Something cute." She told me. I sighed and looked at her with an 'Are you serious?' look.

"Where are we going?" I questioned. She glared playfully at me. "Go. Hurry up or we'll be late." She ordered me. I laughed and rolled my eyes. Instead of spending 20 minutes arguing with her, like I would have, I just walked up the staircase, my heels clicking along the carpet on the wood of the stairs.

I held my bag in my hand as I walked slowly to my own bedroom. Damon and Stefan were here, I could hear them. Stefan was writing, I could hear the faint scratch of the pen on paper.

And Damon was sitting in his bedroom, on his phone.

Super hearing came in handy, at times, but when you live in a room across the hall from Rebekah, who has guys over at least 3 times a week...

I shuddered a little and pulled open my door. Everything was the way I left it.

After changing into a spaghetti strapped dress with different shades of gray that only came down to my thighs, and a light gray denim half-jacket, I slowly redid my hair. Thanks to having it in a braid all day, my previously straightened hair was wavy and fell down to my chest. I decided to just leave it down and I touched up my makeup a bit before slipping into a pair of gray high heeled sandals.

I looked at myself in the full bodied mirror in the huge bathroom. I sighed and clicked a dark necklace in place around my neck, and then a pair of matching gray dangling earrings. I grabbed my small bag and walked slowly down the stairs, Rebekah was sipping from a bloodbag at the kitchen.

"Want one?" She smirked at me. I didn't say anything I just stared at her. "There is a freezer full downstairs." She told me. I shuddered a little.

Cold blood? That's like drinking chunky milk... Disgusting, but I didn't have time to compel someone to let me drink from them. I sighed and made my way to the stairs.

I had never been downstairs. "Ill be in the car!" She told me. I sighed and nodded as I stood in the doorway, staring down at the dark, dirty staircase. I gulped and took the first step, my heart racing.

A super powerful hybrid witch scared of a basement...?

I sighed and told myself to man up as I slowly descended the dark staircase. I finally made it down to a level, that was completely dirt. I slowly walked through the darkness and eventually found a light switch. I sighed with comfort when a small, lightbulb hanging from the ceiling in the hallway switched on and provided at least some light.
