Walking quickly to catch up to the two men Hermione couldn't help but think why Albus would think something would happen between the three of them. It would be completely illogical to even tell them considering they're obviously together and would never be interested in her.
Signing Hermione pushed those thoughts away as they came to a stop.
"Are you ready to enter the snake pit miss Granger?" Lucius asked as he stopped in front of Salazar Slytherin's portrait.
"As ready as I'll ever be" she mumbled lowly before nodding and watched as Severus smirked and gave the password - otter - and the portrait swung open revealing a beautiful living area.
There were two couches, two chairs, a large fireplace, a coffee table sitting between everything and it was all done in a mixture of earth tones. To the left of the fireplace was a window, curiosity showing on her face she looked at the two men. "It's a magical wall dear, it shows us everything from this side of the castle to the black lake. It's quite peaceful isn't it dear?" Lucius smiled warmly at her causing her face to burn.
Looking back at the wall she nodded and shivered when she it finally dawned on her she was actually in their chambers, alone with them.
"Which book would you like to read pet?" Holding out each book Severus smirked as her hand shook when she reached out for 'basilisk venom and its many uses'. Smiling softly at the professor she sat down on the ground in front of the couch with her back leaning against it.
Confused on why she would sit on the floor the two men frowned. "Hermione, you don't have to sit on the floor dear." Lucius informed her.
Looking up from the book she just smiled and replied "but I like the floor. I've always sat on the floor while reading." Frowning after saying this she thought about how they probably think that it was improper to sit on the floor. So moving to stand up to sit on the couch she was stopped by Snape placing a hand on her shoulder.
"You can stay there if you wish. We just wanted you to know that here you are an equal and are allowed to sit on the couch with us, or on the chairs whichever you should choose. But if its the floor you wish to sit on then you may do so. We just want you comfortable here." Smirking at the young witch he took great pleasure in the shiver that ran through her body as she nodded.
'Get a grip of yourself Granger. Him and Malfoy are together. There is no room for you, as if they'd want you anyway.' Feeling tears well up in her eyes she quickly looked down at her book trying to distract herself with reading.
Hours passed in silence, the only sound was the turning of the pages. Leaning her head back Hermione sighed contently as she closed her eyes.
Severus finished his book and looked at the clock then looked at hermione with his mouth open to tell her to go to her dorms. But upon noticing her asleep he couldn't formulate a sentence and watched as she slept peacefully against their couch. Smiling softly at the young woman he looked at Lucius and looked back at Hermione.
" I believe we should just let her sleep here." Lucius told Severus after looking at the witch. "It would be easier than waking her and walking her to her dorm." He reasoned.
Nodding with the decision they both stood and lifted her up. Placing her on the couch Snape went to get a blanket while Malfoy ran his fingers through her hair smiley softly at her.
" I can't wait until she realizes what were up to. If those fantasies we saw in her head were any clue to what she wanted we're in for quite a ride love." He told Severus once he returned with the blanket.
Both men covered her then leaned down to kiss the top of her head and wished her goodnight. Walking to their rooms they couldn't wait for what was in store for them tomorrow.
Changing they crawled into bed, kissed each other goodnight and fell asleep with a smile on their faces thinking of their witch in the other room.
