Hermione and Harry were walking back when Hermione felt like they were being watched. Catching a flash of blond when looking back Hermione smirked. "Seems like you're being watched Harry" she told her dark haired friend.
"Huh? By who?" He looked around not seeing anyone or anything. "Hermione what are you talking about? There's no one here." He pointed out. Rolling her eyes Hermione pointed behind a pillar.
"He's over there. And I believe he wants to talk to you about something. I'm going to bed, you don't get caught after curfew." Walking a few steps away she called out "And don't do anything stupid dragon!"
Leaving Harry there alone with the dragon was maybe one of the smartest things Hermione has done in a while.

Meanwhile, Snape and Lucius were pacing their rooms trying to figure out a way for Hermione to be safe even though bad things kept happening to her more recently. Itching to roam the castle Severus was about to take his leave when a knock startled them both. Cautiously they both held their wands in their hands when a Scottish voice cane through the door. "For merlins sake you two. Let me in or so help me."
Chuckling at the speaker the men opened the door and welcomed Minerva McGonagall in. "To what do we owe the pleasure Minerva?" Severus questioned, his baritone voice sounding more annoyed than he was.
"It has come to my attention that my daughter has grown rather fond of you two. I am here to warn you to never hurt her. You both are aware of what I am capable of. I will be able to make Voldemort look like a child when it comes to torturing you two if it comes to that. Do not make me regret my decision to trust you two with my daughters heart." The Scottish woman stared at the two men with purses lips and beady eyes. On the outside they were cool but in the inside both men were thinking too loudly over the scenarios the cane up with that she could do to them.
"Of course Minerva. But if you could only tell us the name of your daughter perhaps we can know the young lady on which we have captured the heart of." Lucius questioned the scott.
Giving an unusual Slytherin smirk the head of Gryffindor simply said "Hermione Granger" and left the men's quarters. Flopping onto the chair closer to him Lucius rubbed a hand over his face. "I did not see that coming love. I did not see that at all" he confessed to the potions master.
Sitting on the edge of the sofa Severus agreed. "At least it's makes sense that Hermione is her daughter. Same intelligence, their manners are alike too much not to be related."

Okay so I realize I haven't posted in a while and I know I promised I would but I lost all the drafts and i was working as much as I could. This chapter isn't very good, nor is it as long as my others. I apologize for that but I am going to try to continue writing this and my others while in lockdown. I have a lot more free time on my hands and will attempt to publish at least one chapter a story every other day if possible. I hope everyone is staying safe 💜💜
