Chapter 19~Tired

Melissa's POV

Ughhhhhhhh. I need more coffee. I stayed up all night going to different stores to get balloons. None of them had a lot so I had to go to so many! I quickly went to Tim Hortons (Why am I so Canadian?) and ordered a salted caramel iced cappuccino.

Ah, I have finally gotten my coffee. So I went into my car, which is filled with balloons. After a long night, I went home and got all the balloons out, setting them free in the house. And then I took a 15 minute nap on the couch. Well, it was more of a 2 minute nap because Luci apparently woke up and saw all the balloons and gasped. I am a light sleeper, also my ears, so I heard her and woke up.

I looked up at her with, what I'm thinking, really dark circles under my eyes and messed up hair. "W-what happened to you?!" She asked. "I stayed up going to different stores getting these balloons." I said in a tired voice. "Oh lord! You need rest!" "N-no I'm fine." I stuttered. "No you're not fine. You need sleep." "Nooo...." "For me?" She said with, what I think is, puppy eyes. I can't really see right now. "Fine." She dragged me to the bedroom and I stood up and flopped on the bed. The second I my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.
