Chapter 5~Getting Ready And Realisation

Melissa's POV

It was the day. The ballroom dance supposedly started at 7:00 and it was 5:30. Aphmau asked me if I wanted to go to their place to get ready. I declined because I wanted it to be a grand reveal. I'm only slightly serious about that.

I showered and got into my dress. I was planning to put on black tights but didn't after ward because this is a night out! I then put my hair in a ponytail so it was out of my face while I did my makeup.

I decided to go for a gold eye shadow because it sorta matched with my dress. For hair:

Yeah, that took me forever. I needed to curl my hair, and my hair is hard to curl, then I had to put it in a sorta-ponytail while it was curled. Which, may I tell you, is a LONG and HARD process. Then I put on this tiny hair crown.

Finally, I put on these heels that matched with everything.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked, actually, pretty good.

I grabbed a black purse and went out, since it was actually almost time. I went to the casino we were supposed to go to and went inside to see all of them with someone else. And that's when I realised...I don't have a date.
