Melissa's POV

Today is the day. I need to tell my parents about this. I'm nervous. Judging by their personalities, I don't really think that they accept an lgbtq+ couple. But of course, it's never come up in conversation and I've never heard them talk about it so I guess I can't really assume.

I went over to the living room, where mom and dad were, and sat down on the loveseat. They looked at me and gave me a look saying 'Well?' I sighed and started. "Umm...Well...I got a significant other." They looked shocked. "Really?!" "Who?!" "What's he like?!" "Will I hate him?!" "Is he a werewolf?!" I shushed them and sighed. "First, of all. It's not a he. It's a she. Her name is Lucinda.She is a witch and good friends with Aphmau. She is nice and has the power to reverse forever potions." I had a worried look on my face. Then, the unexpected happened. They hugged me. I was way too shocked to hug back.

Once they let go, they sat back down in their seats. "Honey, it's okay. We can tell your worried about having a lesbian relationship. But we completely accept it. And we're proud of you." Moml explained. Dad looked at her and nodded. "We may not seem like the type to accept that, but we do. And yes, we're proud of you. Honestly, we were wondering when you would finally find someone. Aaron's found one before you and he's younger than you." "Dad!" "Also, you should probably keep her if she can reverse forever potions." Dad winked. "Sooooo....can we meet her?" Mom asked. "Someday."
