Chapter 21~Finding Out

3rd Person POV

Melissa finally woke up. It was around 7:00 pm. She saw Lucinda sleeping next to her. She smiled before slowly getting up, trying not to wake up Lucinda. Which she succeeded. She got up and grabbed some clothes then went to the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day...night.

She went to the kitchen and was going to get something from the fridge, but she saw something on the kitchen island. It was her notebook...opened. She picked it up and saw this:

-Ton of balloons✓

-Go to Aaron's house and ask for help with the food✓

-Finish writing all of the invitations✓

-Deliver all of them✓

She was pretty shocked. Who finished the jobs? But then she saw a note written under the checklist and the answer lies within it.

Hey Melissa <3,

You probably already know by now that I finished planning the party you're hosting. And don't say that I shouldn't have. You looked real exhausted and I wanted to help. I got Aaron to help me with most of the food. Anyways, really tired now. So see yah once I wake up.

Melissa felt blessed. She felt so lucky that she had a girlfriend like Lucinda. Melissa smiled to herself, closed her notebook and went straight back to the bedroom tto cuddle with Lucinda again.
